The Boys (Amazon Prime Video)

Oh lordy.

side note, after watching this on youtube, the crisis on infinite earth trailer played... it seemed pale and lifeless by comparison to the boys trailer.

Man this show is intense. We just watched the third episode of Season 2. The release schedule is something to get used to again after having the convenience of binging an entire season in a sitting or two.

Having spent the last sixty years having to wait a week between episodes the release schedule does not bother me at all.
Even if a shows entire season is released at once I do not binge, I actually enjoy anticipating a new episode

I have no problem waiting, but my own schedules arent suited for week by week releases.
I'm not needing to binge the whole thing, but when I get a chance I could knock a couple out at a time. There'll be periods where I'll be building up episodes until I can grab an opportunity to see them.
Wouldnt bother me if it was regular TV, I'd just deal with it, but I'm paying extra for this service.

In a sense yes, but the guy is such a dolt. Hopefully he does something right in his life and finds a way to help kill Homelander. The actor who portrays him is so good though and walking that line is honestly a real talent. I've been very impressed with his performance.

He is such a good performer I can’t stand that Supe look on his face, even out of costume

Speaking of which the actor who plays Homelander, man that guy deserves an Emmy. They way he can switch from phony charm to icy death is seamless.
Agreed. and he's so different in real life too. With a lot of actors you don't see much difference between themselves and their characters but this guy both looks and acts so differently from Homelander it almost makes you believe that Homelander is a real person. He's lucky that he looks nothing like Homelander, otherwise he'd probably get a lot of grief from random people who see him and can't tell the difference between an actor and the character(s) they play.

Such a good show, I kind of like the weekly releases. All the acting is first class, but Homelander is certainly one of the standouts. Banshee looks interesting too, I'll have to check it out.

Just found the companion show, Inside The Boys on prime.
Its a bit of a Talking Dead vibe, but quite good seeing some of the actors chatting.
