The Book of Boba Fett

I kind of feel bad for him..
Nope, not with the resources he had. His statements reeked of overconfidence.

They released a black series jabba palace, I would have died to have that as a kid.. I have a cardboard one I never took out of the packaging…
It's from The Vintage Collection. The pictures blew me away. I'm a Jabba guy and Jabba's palace is one of my collecting focuses. I have the cardboard set and planned to beef it up by laminating it to plywood or plasticard but this set blows all previous attempts out of the water. Even though it is slightly different from what we have seen in ROTJ it is a great base for customizing. Add some lights, use the vintage Kenner throne as a floor piece and the railing and hookah pipe from the Jabba Ultra set, use the floor pattern from the cardboard set and add the walls from the previous Jabba's Palace playset and you have the perfect display piece. I know it is expensive but you will have to spend money, elbow grease and time if you make it yourself. That one comes ready for display, so it's not too bad. And you only need one, not a bazillion of it, so the price can be swallowed. Let's hope the set can be ordered here in Germany in March, too, because then we will get a German HasbroPulse shop. :)

So this is moot since the show is out and I’m not a writer nor any way involved with Lucasfilm (call me?) but I just wanted to bullet point an outline of what I wish had happened

• Escape the Sarlaac
• Live with the Tuskens for ~5 years
• Rescue Fennec post Mando S1
• Come up against the Pykes as a nomad, train heist etc.
• Notice Cobb/Mando have the armor, steal Slave 1 from Bib and reclaim armor from Mando on Tython
• Tuskens killed by Pykes in Boba’s absence
• Boba returns and takes the crime families to task, kills Bib and the enforcers for the other clans, says anyone that gets in his way or runs spice will die ETC
• Pykes send Cad Bane for palaver, but Boba is defiant and claims he won’t stop until the syndicate is entirely destroyed and gone from Tatooine
• Pykes raze the palace, wounding and capturing Fennec while leaving Boba for dead.
• Boba saved by the dune Tuskens and the warrior woman and child, who take him to Mos Pelgo/Cobb
• Pykes and Bane take up residence at Garsa’s and bleed the townspeople
• Boba and Cobb come to an agreement, help take down the Pykes and the armor is his.
• Boba, the Freetowners, and the dune Tuskens (plus the lady Tusken and kid) ride on Mos Espa
• Battle battle battle yadda yadda
• Boba team wins, Cobb gets the armor, Mos Espa saved
That is exactly what I had in mind when I said I was writing my own book using the best elements. :)

I am glad that I don't understand this reference
Basically every dialogue (mostly from Morpheus) was like this:

"This night will seal our fate. We may win, or not. If we don't win, I know that we have fought well. But if we DO win, this will be the dawn of a new tomorrow. Not everyone will survive. Some of us will die. But those who will not die will live. And those who will live will not die. Of course they will die someday later but for know they will live..."

This kind of dialogue repeats over and over again and drove me crazy..! :D

I don't think the BF of ESB is different than the one in ROTJ...too close in terms of time-line IMO. But again...why the doubt? Why the questioning?
Accept your faith and role in this world and die with your boots on! The minute you're asking yourself questions about your destiny; that's the time to pack everything and tell your tales, around a fire, to your friends the Sand people...you know, to keep the legend alive.
Besides that, I don't see any redeeming parts about spilling your guts to your local shrink...The Galaxy is populated with a lot of nasty characters and the only way to survive is to be as nasty/nastier than them. That's why he's a BH!! That's why he was selected by no other than DARTH VADER FOR HEAVEN SAKE'S to go after the main actors of the Rebellion! And he succeeded... and was bold enough to go toe-to-toe with Darth in his negotiations concerning the faith of his bounty. Now, that takes cojones and steel B!!
Not saying he wasn’t extremely competent and skilled.

I’m saying that the idea of “I’m tired of working for idiots” started somewhere. Did that pop into his head coincidentally with the Khetanna incident? Or was that already kicking around in his mind before then? Could have been a cool flashback on how he got to that frame of mind.

Lots of great movies about underworld types still at the top of their game, yet becoming disenchanted with the work and thinking about a change.
