The Book of Boba Fett

Yeah that and everything is reflected in his eyes. The same way Luke's lightsaber is reflected a little later on.

You also see the front of the pod at the bottom of the screen...people don't pay attention LOL

Watching it again, the Troopers do look right at him, point and run towards him as he becomes more scared. It's hard to tell if there is a shadow coming down as it cuts the sequence at the same time.

I think people are thinking that halo around the screen is what he’s hiding in.. I take it as a flash back

Agree completely with what you say

I thought the halo was suppose to mimic Anakin's old flash fowards in RotS. It's the SW uni "premonition/memory" indicator. They're similar at the very least.

I'm hyper into details and notice these things immediately LOL! But no, you're completely right, that's def his pod.

I think you even see the hall when Luke touches gogurt a head.. so the halo In the temple didn’t seem like a big deal to me

The Max Reebo puppet looks so odd in BOBF. Really weird. I assumed it was a different one of his species as there is no way he survived until she called him Max. My head nearly exploded. Dumb like Bib Fortuna surviving. In legends that was dumb as well.

So they have now told the back story of how Max survived. Much better than the series.

So this is Book of Boba Fett Episode 1.5. As is tradition Boba Fett is not in his own series.

It looks as if those three Jedi are specifically protecting Grogu.

I also think it's too much of a stretch to say that his POV outline is the same outline as his pod, but is not his pod.

It’s been some time since rotj, I think he’s got alittle Botox

I am just so happy that we have a live action Cad Bane that people that can mess around with!!

Same.

I think they had such good feedback from all the practical effects thus far, so they decided to continue. Prosthetic work isn't easy, and to have them make his face longer, it would have required robotic puppetry, leaving less room for a human performance underneath. I still think his menacing demeanor played the same.

The only thing they might have done was moved it down in post like they did with the Mouth of Sauron, but again, that's minor squabbles. I think they're really pushing the idea that these cartoons are exaggerated, obviously.

I can get over it, like I did for Ahsoka's montrals/lekku. I get why they did it in the long run. Shaak-Ti was such a minor character with far more background appearances. Like it's said in the newer art book; to have Ahsoka up front and doing so many stunts, the prosthetics would have looked too fake if they made them super long. And animating them would have looked even faker.

I'm for it. It gives makeup FX workers jobs. Thumbs up over here.

One of many things over looked today, good job pointing it out

Over used CGI is so cringe to me. I adore practical FX! Those banthas!

Some of it might look silly in today's standards ,(Max Rebo) but you can't deny that he doesn't look exactly the same, I have to commend them for it! They completely screwed up what Yoda looked like in the prequels, but they tried. I wish they would have reworked him instead of making him completely CGI, but eh.

I love that Werner Herzog called them cowards when they didn't want to use the amazing creation that is that puppet. That man is the GOAT for that.

I kind of respect both world though.. cgi we couldn’t have a lot to what we have today

But all the hand man stuff is incredible.. I love practical effects because it’s almost like watching a magic show for me..

I wonder how they made it happen, how they mechanically pulled it off..

I respect cgi, I live for practical.. but if I was totally anti cgi we wouldn’t have stuff like Jurassic park

Over use of cgi, I’m totally with ya on that.. but just enough is perfect

Kind of like chocolate bars.. if you had that and only that to eat every day you’d get tired of it.. limiting it for yourself makes it worth it every time
