The Book of Boba Fett

Mando getting a new ship has zero bearing on Boba Fett. We didn’t need an entire episode plopped in Fett’s show depicting that. Nothing could happen in the finale to change that. As for Grogu, I suppose they could have him appear out of nowhere and save the day but they could just as easily not write that in. This should’ve been solely Boba’s story, not how he keeps getting rescued by others.
so you want a Batman Story without the joker, Robin, Riddler etc..

I enjoy the puppet Grogu, it's old school and it's as good as it needs to be.

While I'll admit the CGI Yoda and CGI Jabba 'look better' and look more realistic what has always bugged me is that they didn't use the puppets as motion templates, especially with the mouths. Both Yoda and Jabba puppets had open/close mouths but the CGI versions have fully articulated lips.
I think if both the CGI Yoda and Jabba had simple open/close mouths they would have instantly 'looked' more like the original puppets.

To be fair, I want all the of the baby. I'm "I would like to see the baby" every day....but Boba needs to kick some serious ass on his own.

If Luke does a drop off, I'd be super let down. Mando can go get him. There's more rumors that the finale's cameos will "melt faces off". (Try me..) So it better be some more bounty hunters. I'm so over jedi right now.

I'd take double Tem and have Rex or Echo or whomever show up at this point. Go for it. But Boba needs the center stage. Ride the Rancor, break some skulls with the gaffi stick again. Bane-Boba show down. Let's go.

Ehhhh, you’re putting words in my mouth. The Joker and Riddler are at least tied to Batman in a direct way. They are foils for him. I wouldn’t want a Batman series where they instead go off on a random tangent about Alfred buying a new feather duster or learning a better tecnique to shining the silver.

Oh, you guys needn't worry.

She's right here with me. ;)

Sorry guys, she's a goner. Jennifer all but confirmed it:

She better not come out with robotic Lekku or this desk I'm currently typing on, will be flipped over.

Also, where is this “have your cake and eat it too” coming from in reference to people rightfully criticizing the weak writing of Luke in addition to the lackluster AI voice? I’ve personally never said “man I hope we get Luke again someday” only to “complain” about it once it happened. I’m not unrealistic—I know it’s impossible to ever have Luke again for so many reasons—as close as they can get to looking like Luke, he still is missing Mark’s performance and the much simpler times of the OT, back before all these passionless Jedi who sit around doing nothing and before all of the baggage the franchise has.

Exactly...I've held my peace waiting for someone else to say it because i'm so iritated at the hypocrisy. We fans always want our cake and eat it too...that's why people want Grogu to take both. Sorry, life is full of choices and we all don't get to have what we want like like spoiled brats. Mando was given a choice. He made his choice, now he has to live with it. Stop criticizing dogmas when people have the choice to receive it or reject it...no one is forcing anyone's hand here. Mando chose Grogu over self...He is selfless even though he really wanted to see him. Grogu is still a child. You expect him to make a childish choice. Grogu reminds me of Anakin more than Yoda. He chose to become a Jedi by permission from Mando. Anakin chose to go with Qui-gon and leave his mother. The Chain mail just has my head scratching...not effective against a blaster...nor a lightsaber because he can still be burned. Grogu is a Force user...He is a Jedi...clearly. Mando spent a whole 2 seasons getting him to Luke ...to undercut that now just because they love each other is just silly. I get it...trust me. Everytime i leave my kid behind and have to go to work i feel the heart tug...but i know as a father i have to teach my son how to be a man. That IS LOVE!!! Love isn't just the warm fuzzies and "i miss you". Love is demonstrated in actions and choice...even disallowing choice at times knowing the nature of a child to willingly choose things that will put them in danger. Any child you lay down green beans and a chocolate bar, which will they choose? The short term gratification or long term health? Mando made the adult decision. Luke is trying to discern if Grogu will finish what he starts...if he really has made a choice in his heart to follow the training. So...NO...I do NOT want him to choose Both. Does he need either one? Nope , but the lightsaber is a Jedi weapon and is an extention of the force user. Grogu is not a mandalorian.

This choice is NOT about creeds at all. It's a choice about , "are you willing to give in to your emotional, temporal desire in exchange for what you can accomplish long term through patience? Luke thinks Grogu is too focused on 1 frog(DIn Djarin)...He needs to expand himself to understand his life is about more than just 1 person. Luke knows this all too well. He knows his father died and now he must accept that reality and use what he's learned to protect and influence others. He's trying to show Grogu that he is most definitely going to out live his "Daddy". Doesn't mean he has to forget him or never see him again...just needs to focus on the trial at hand. Give a man a fish, he eats for a day...teach a man to fish , he eats for a lifetime. To me, the chain mail is just impractical and stupid...I hope he force melts it into a beskar ball or something. As far as Yoda's lightsaber goes? Is Yoda his father? IDK. That is the only thing that would make sense to why a New Jedi Master would hand over a saber and not see if he can build one on his own...like what happened to Luke himself. I would rather have him either reject both and go and make his own lightsaber.

BUT....I can picture Grogu levitating both in the air in front of Luke and deconstructing both items and reconfiguring both to converge into a Beskar/Yoda mashup lightsaber...like this pic...i can only guess which way the writers will tell this.

Since Grogu is indeed a child should he be given a choice at all? Young children aren't exactly known for their keen sense of life experience and abilities to make good decisions lol. The fact that he is presented with this choice that will impact his life so completely is a bit crazy. It's not like he's deciding whether to go to space camp or band camp for the summer. Talking to him about it and trying to understand his feelings is a smart move though. The problem is he may be too young to even understand his own feelings or have the emotional intelligence to be able to communicate them.

Put him on a path, show him how to commit to it, to never to give up, why what he's doing is important, show him your love for it and he will learn and follow the path you set him on.Then when he's old enough/mature enough to make these kind of decisions give him the choice and respect his decision. If his heart isn't in it, then let him go.

Apples and oranges...people are connected directly or indirectly...be patient, wait for the Finale

Yeah he's little, but he's also been around for 50 years and an earlier chunk of that was with some very prominent jedi. Luke even said he isn't teaching him, Grogu is remembering.

I think he's in there, he has severe PTSD and has repressed everything. Ahsoka said he hid his own abilities to protect himself. Only when Mando was in danger with the Mudhorn, did he show he could use the force. I don't think anyone wiped his mind, he did it himself. His species is powerful and he was picked to be the Yoda species for a reason.

He's more than meets the eye, for sure.

We’ll see! I want you to be right!

However, for the show’s purposes, all we needed was Mando showing up at the palace or Boba/Fennec meeting him at the spaceport, him saying “I got your message…etc etc” and then we go from there. That’s literally all that was needed, to keep things tight and still focused on Fett. Show Mando and Fett working together to plan, prepare, etc.

As of right now, almost everything else outside of Tatooine they’ve shown has been superflous and meandering in regards *this show*, unless we do get some random circumstance where Grogu shows up and uses his newfound training to save the day. If that happens, I’d say the argument for including Grogu’s training in *this show* is more justified. Frankly, I’d rather see them go full circle and have the Tuskens save the day if there’s gonna be any day saving. Lol
