To be fair, it's not like the people behind this show would necessarily be HEMA experts or know the first thing about how to properly use a buckler. They probably got the idea initially from anime, or a computer game where somebody had an arm mounted energy shield. They then combined it with a buckler thinking that maybe a small shield, like a buckler, would be more practical. Of course, this is done without realizing that in order for a small shield like a buckler to work it needs to hand held so that it can be thrust out in front of you. I've been a Medieval/Renaissance arms and armor enthusiast for pretty much all of my life and I only learned about how to properly use a buckler relatively recently, so I can forgive the writers and/or BDH for making this mistake.

Looks like the same style/configuration used years ago in the Clone Wars show.

This at least somewhat works though because its covering a substantial portion of her exposed area and is positioned higher to protect her hand as well. Plus there's the fact that Sabines particular armor has all the protective practicality to it of typical female video game girl armor so her having a shield is practical to a degree. Again, not so with 300lb RoboCop Visla


BTW with Mandos chrome Jetpack just taking shot after shot now after the opening of the episode without any damage, is it weirdly made of Beskar now too? With the end of Mando Season 2 during the Gideon fight I think they bullshited it by having the Beskar Spear placed back there too to kinda block the Dark saber damaging it, but what's the excuse now with the guy just blasting Mando in the back?

Except that the one in Rebels is more the size of a Scottish targe while the one we see in BoBF is more the size of a classic buckler or just a bit larger. The heavy Mando's wasn't large enough to cover his hands and only covered the forearms. While a cool concept, almost next to useless mounted on the arm or wrist, it would be far more useful if it were handheld.

I assumed because Mando got his jet pack the the Armorer and we always see her working with Beskar, and because his jet pack is shiny silver, that is is made of Beskar.

The question I have is how did Han Solo damage Fetts jet pack so severely with the handle of an electric pike?

All that is true, which is why he wanted another large ship. He "settled" for the starfighter because it's really cool, and it's so fast that he no longer has to worry about sleeping in route. He can just find accommodations at his destination. But after the ordeal of public transportation, just having his own ship is the top priority right now. He can keep looking for another Razorcrest in the meantime.

I too hoped he was going to take off his helmet when the armorer asked and tell her big deal cult lady, lol I hope he just reconnects with the normal mandos with Bo Katan and crew and puts this cult behind him.

Naboo happened at 4am..lol, let's not forget that the so called " cult" saved him multiple times, cared for him etc. And he agreed to the oath and creed. I don't think the Armorer is his enemy...she's his greatest supporter but she has to live by the creed herself or she loses respect. She basically flat out told him his leaning is towards the Jedi. She is testing his honesty with himself

Regarding the N1, as much as liked what they did with it, I do find it to be an odd choice for someone who's A) A bounty hunter and might need to take back a bounty alive, and B) Has no home base to work out of/from which means he'd have to find/establish some sort of Homebase to work out because you really can't live out of a single seat starfighter.
