The Book of Boba Fett

I'm guessing he could have played it one of two ways..
Make yourself popular by saving Young Tusky which might not pan out..
Or
Allow the child to take the kill, maybe Tusky was an underdog who wanted respect and Daddy Tusky saw that Boba was compassionate and wasn't just a Thug they found in the Desert..

" Respect "
That's what i initially thought and i'm not disagreeing with you at all. The first chance he escaped he was about to attack the youngling but didn't and ran instead. The second time, he was angry at the Rodian for blowing the opportunity the first time.Creature appears,(i was hoping it was a Krayt Dragon), Rodian dies, the youngling actually helps him and stabs the creature...Boba kills the creature Leia style like she did Jabba and could have taken out the youngling and escaped again but chose not too and then shows the youngling grace by allowing him to be showered in praise even though his Dad didn't buy it and gave Boba the drink...a very tactical move indeed that would garner respect but i don't think his first attempt to escape was that at all, i just think he can't hurt a youngling...maybe because the tuskans ritualize there children the same way the Kaminoins did the clones or that he remembers what happened when he was a child. idk..or how far a person will go when thirsty to get water...lol

"You want me to dig for water?"....Boba came from Kamino..a water planet and now he lives in a bacta tank...lol

but very good point

**edited for adding other points and spelling corrections..lol

I might be wrong, I didn't take into account that we had a picture of the outside from the original deleted scene. But we know it's going to appear in the flashbacks, so I immediately assumed they were setting up Fett's knowlege of its location. But it would be odd for them to faithfully recreate the interior and then redesign the exterior.
I’m looking forward to this

at 12:11 into the show Fennec says "wake up boss" then Boba gets out and says, "the dreams are back" ...Fennec then says , "let's go"..seems she is leading him at this point...lol. It does appear as PTSD and he is relying on these "sessions"...good point

I took it that the “nightmares” are being used to give the necessary flashbacks to explain to new viewers who this “Boba guy” is and, for fans, to quickly fill-in the missing gaps between ROTJ and the series. A basic writer’s tool for exposition…

The Bacta tank? Well, that is just Boba’s vanity and an attempt to desperately hold onto his youthful appearance—based upon an article he read in The Galactic Inquirer

I’ve been ruminating on this show all day, and I honestly think they would have been better off putting Daniel Logan into the role of Boba and using Morrison to play Rex if he shows up. Morrison’s age is very apparent upon rewatching and when considering the timeline.

I believe you are tooling with me about your second point...lol

This is just a thought..( I know i'm wrong...lol) but if you listen to the conversation on AOTC between the Kaminoin and Obi-wan about the clones they talk about the original host(jango) and how the clones were altered for accelerated growth etc but he wanted ONE unaltered clone for himself that wouldn't be affected like the others. The Kaminoin replies that it's very interesting he would want that. We all assume that it's Boba(Alpha). We know Filoni has deep roots in the clones and now...Enter The Bad Batch and (Omega)...another unaltered clone. In AOTC there was no mention of two but only one. We now have ALPHA and OMEGA. Boba should age naturally, but i don't see too many presidents that enter into office and come out even 4 years later looking the same. Their hair has grayed, the stress of the job takes its toll eventually...even though i don't think its vanity ALLEY may have a point to him wanting to feel younger after going through what he has been through...or maybe the fear and insecurity of someone coming in behind you that is younger, smarter, faster and stronger. Probably too much supposition on my part...lol

Another vote for Daniel Logan..it would be a real shame to not see Dan on screen especially as he's been helping to keep Boba Alive on his Insta account and has a very fine suit of his own

Boba was Jango’s payment but Taun We doesn’t explicitly state that he’s the only unaltered clone.

I guess my issue is that these harsh injuries notwithstanding Morrison still reads much older than Boba should. He seems too distinguished and passive, something that I feel is too soon for a Boba that has been through the wringer so recently.

I frankly don't get why Daniel Logan keeps getting brought up. We know that as a fully grown adult, Fett would look just like Jango as portrayed by Temuera Morrison. As far as Tem's age discrepancy goes, the ordeal in the sarlacc and on Tatooine in general can easily explain away why Fett looks aged. It's just a nonissue as far as I'm concerned. As for his demeanor, I would say that would be more the fault of the showrunners than the actor. If I had a complaint, I'd say Tem's body type simply doesn't match the smaller Fett we knew in the OT and I would've been fine if they had used a double except the rare occasion the helmet came off. Clearly they didn't go in that direction however.

EDIT: I will say I could see a place for Daniel Logan if it's in a flashback. I know there had been speculation Cad Bane might make an appearance and one wonders if we might see that unfinished TCW sequence where a young Fett receives his helmet dent from Bane, reimagined in live action.

Whenever you could see people standing on the trap door in the palace, it looked like it wasn’t even there, just flat, like they’re using the volume as a floor now as well.
It's there, but it's a few feet farther from the throne than I expected/remembered.

re: Boba's ESB theme. Well it's just a short motif, but anyway, use of Williams themes has been extremely sparse in all of the TV shows from CW onward. Sometimes they'll compose something similar but legally different to a Williams cue (a lot of Raiders sound-alikes in Rebels), but apart from the Force Theme on two or three occasions, they have avoided Williams almost entirely. Probably have to pay him.

Wolfsburg Im finding myself more willing to forgive a variance in face than in overall stature and physicality. The sarlaac explains some of the infirmity but it’s just very much not the Fett that went into the pit. To me a body double with Tems face vs Daniel as Boba with a not identical face comes out in favor of Daniel, but it’s largely moot because Morrison is what we’ve got. I will add that I do like Morrison, I just don’t buy it some of the time.

I love how Tem's Boba in this show portrays him as one that has been "from one side of the galaxy to the other" and sees through the BS, outward appearance of things, and is not easily given to flatteries or seduction (via Garsa Fwip). "I walk on my own two feet" even though he has great help with Fennec's two feet and brain. Notice, she seemed to lead him for a little bit to the throne then when she advised against taking the gamorreans on the team, he refused the advice. (we will see if this pays off in the long run). It definitely payed off in the short term. They have a great relationship but Boba is slowly reestablishing his reign and reputation(with Fennecs willfull help). It will be interesting if this changes at some point.
