The Week Before Boba

T'was the week before Boba
Ep3 has now aired,
every fan is now worried
in chill mode or scared.
Trying to make sense
how this storyline will last
as week after week
Boba gets handed his A$$.
Will next week be better
or just more of the same?
As Boba is Boba
only in armor and name.
I sense that poor Boba
will still be in danger,
No matter how mighty
a morphine power ranger.
Will there be more wookies
a rancor, or Hutt,
or will the fans get one more
big kick in the butt?
Whatever the case,
blown away or again burned.
We will secretly be wanting
Luke again to return.
As long as old greenie
starts blazing away
Or Maybe Mando comes back
to save Boba's day.
As the twins make there way
on their own sailbarge
with Boba in chains
and Thrawn now in charge...
With one more trip back
over Tatooinne sands,
a new set of minions
and Max rebo's band,
Will it be back in the Sarlacc
an old place where he's been?
Will he "Ride like a Bantha"
White teeth showing grin?
So much to say,
i sure could say more
but i'm already wishing
for episode 4.

It's interesting. We are all SW fans, and most of us are Boba fans, too. And we walk away from this show with such varying opinions.

Despite all my nitpicks, and the million little things that I would "fix" in the first three episodes, I really like this show. Could it be better? Sure. But I am still enjoying it.

My main concern at this point is that they seem to be going for more of a "slow burn" with the intrigue and the hidden machinations, but we only have seven eps. I worry that they are going to rush through too many things in order to wrap things up by the end of Episode 7. The Tusken slaughter already feels like it came way too early in the story.

Not at all. He gives an incredibly powerful performance. The whole cast does. Its a pretty intense movie, though, so be prepared.

Mark’s performance was great in TLJ, and the character had an arc whether people liked that arc or not. With BOBF I feel like a gunslinger went into the pit and somebody’s goofy dad came out. If I liked Boba Fett like some people do I would be increasingly put off by this portrayal.

just clarifying i never said Hamills performance wasn't great...my point is that i personally wouldn't blame him because someone wrote his storyline or character wrong. His acting was really good...love Hamill as an actor and voice actor

I think he's doing a good job, my problem is that he's not acting like I think Fett would. Boba Fett has a reputation and in this show he's not really capitalizing on it. In the old EU just someone mentioning his name gave people the chills. In this show, he's been gone a while, but no one is respecting him the way you'd think they would. The mayor dude either has massive Ithorian cajones, he doesn't know the name, or it's written badly.

They even said on the show he wasn't respected...his own droid said it too, so its clearly the writing...its intentional and they know it and they are slapping us all in the face with it until we get the fact that it's a NEW Boba. I agree totally with you that it's not really Boba...because it isn't. He will never Act like Boba should in our minds. He really didn't in Mandalorian either so we shouldn't be surprised.
