The Book of Boba Fett

I totally agree with what you are saying and if if it sounded anyway disrespectful I apologise.
What I was saying in my OG post was about a specific group of people usually uninformed sometimes ignorant youngsters..

Which is what the Industry are trying to address.

The OG post which we replied too was about the Wookie Bounty Hunter BK not Boba but yes said BK's Scar as my OG post seems to be covered over..

Regards

Mott.
Oh naw no insult taken at all dude! Its all actually kinda really interesting to me from a studying behavioral/human psychology aspect!

that doesn't answer why Boba Fett's character is under the most scrutiny right now. Are we blaming Rodruiguez for the Boba Fett character now?
Separate complaints. If the show had better direction/was more entertaining to watch, some people (not all, certainly) would be more content with the character changes. But in conjunction with bad writing, we’re also getting lackluster presentation. So, me personally? Not really blaming Rodriguez necessarily for the character changes, although if he cared more about the character he’d direct Tem to move and deliver dialogue more like the character.

It was yeah.

And not necessarily. Maybe he wanted even more than that; maybe the helmet removal in "The Believer" and then in the finale were added to appease him.

Or maybe the rumors are just rumors and aren't true. I don't know. I just find both the timing and the drop in quality of BoBF suspicious.
Is it possible the Book of Boba then was more of a quick money grab, than a void filler , to bring in revenue to keep Pedro as Mando?

BoBF is really just a story about an elderly couple, Boba and Fennec. They eat a meal, talk to some neighbors, take a walk into town, and then Boba has to get back for his nap. 3 episodes in and everything that's happened so far could have been covered in 1. I'm not a fan of Rodriguez and thought he was a bad fit for Star Wars, but this is even boring by his standards.

Yep. The Book of Boba Fett is actually a sitcom!

I agree both of Rodriguez episodes felt different but even if he nailed it with the directing, a good majority would still have a problem with the way Boba's arc has transpired and if he is anything other than the bad dude Boba we are used to seeing don't you think? A good majority of people on here are upset with the mighty morphine Voltron rangers too but i'm not sure Rodriguez made that decision either.

My suspicion, if it was a negotiation tactic -- and I'm not basing this on anything more than extrapolating from rumors, I don't know any more than you do -- it would be as a flex to show that he's not as vital as he thinks he is. A "we don't need you, we have a Mandalorian at home" kind of thing.

I think i would do what is necessary to keep Pedro as Mando (longterm)based on how successful the show is...Pedro is definitely in the drivers seat here...hope he can drive better than the Majordomo.

Love this show but what's Boba want with Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders when he really needs a bunch of loyal Tuskens trained up to be the Sons of Anarchy ?!
oh, yeah.. Disney

Not to drag this out again, but I truly believe if they had brought Daniel Logan back we would have a differently characterized Boba and IMO a better one

Great...So not only is it Rodriguez' fault for the character of Boba, now Tem is at fault too? We can't seem to get it right who the REAL blame is. I suppose if we follow the yellow brick road back to Emerald city we will find who Really is behind the curtain.

I think Rodriguez is a problem and I also think Morrison’s inclusion dictated to a point what the character would be like. I didn’t say Morrison was to blame for any technical shortcomings, and his acting is fine I just don’t think he’s the character he could be.

The acting, directing, story and writing seem to be getting worse with each episode. Morrison is really not cut out for this. The biker gang and a number of other elements just didn't feel Star Wars at all to me. They felt like generic filler, as though they could've easily been in any number of other universes. Disney & Lucasfilm can do much better. Hopefully they will.
