I've wanted this from day one. But they have a long history of deep faking older/dead actors in SW and now they hired Shamook. Unfortunately this is but a dream.

He would have given a great performance and my stance on Luke would have probably drastically changed.

I’d love to see him because I feel like he’d give his own performance, not just a stunt double standing still for a robot to photoshop a face and voice over his.

The Believer is still one area where I can say I was genuinely impressed with the writing from any new SW content. It was the only thing I can recollect from season 2. Too bad that like most of the content, it was isolated and surrounded by mediocrity.

I feel like there would have been so much more emotion during the training and with Ahsoka. I was invested because of Grogu, but I'm quite literally buzzing away flies when ever Luke appears.

Has anyone found confirmation that they're still synthesizing Luke's voice, as they did the last time? I mentioned it elsewhere and someone claims Hamill did it this time, and I haven't found convincing documentation either way.

I'd imagine they are crediting him anytime they are using his likeness or sampling his voice. I don't know.

She was fighting with Yoda on Kashyyyk and was presumably arrested there? She was only ever labeled to have Offee as a padawan, and she was in jail at the time. Obviously Offee gets out, but I'm going to assume she either turned into a Ventress/Maul/Ahsoka grey area jedi or became an inquisitor. She was shown to have a red light saber when she was caught.

I don't know why Offee would take him, unless he was captured for a time, eventually rescued by someone else and bounced around to try to keep him hidden. Being that the Empire was looking for him, that would mean they would know about him specifically, so it could work?

I truly expected more "muscle" to be hired by Fennec/Boba. They acquired Mando and then had the meeting - "Well, we have Krrsantan and Din, sooo, we're good. " That's it? You're standing next to the Vespa kids and feeling pretty good about going to war? I thought, "Where are all the other hired thugs/assassins?"- it reminded me of Deadpool showing up at Professor X's mansion and only finding Colossus at home due to budget constraints.

Well see now I just want Boba to ask Fennec "Is this seriously all we could get?", as they walk by a room with Dengar, Bossk, 4-Lom, Zuckuss and Embo are all sitting there looking at them, while they're both distracted and Bossk just gently closes the door.

Well they said they had their "enforcers" but they still needed foot soldiers. So I don't think Din was the solve for an army, but they needed an elite leadership group. The way they described the Mods tasks, it sounded like they were more scouting for Boba.

Yeah, I know- it was more my expectations/disappointment than anything else. I was just hoping for a few cool bounty hunters, maybe a sniper...

Yeah I felt the same way. I had thought they were gonna spend episodes 5 and 6 negotiating deals and recruiting help, maybe show the rancor being trained, etc. Y’know, logical stuff that would’ve actually been relevant to this particular plot.

As it is, it was almost comical. “well…this is all we could get to come” lol Mando, Krrsantan and some teenagers with attitude. Recruiting poor peasant folk seems like a poor choice to fight a vicious gang war. Poor Boba…

On another tangent, I suppose Cad Bane was the one that killed Boba’s Tuskens?

On an even further tangent, they seem to be playing coy and building up to reveal who saved Grogu. How likely or silly would it be if Thrawn was the one? Maybe he stepped in and told the troopers to stand down, recognizing Grogu’s uniqueness and potential usefulness? At some point much later, Grogu is stolen and hidden away, thus the bounty placed on him by Gideon, potentially a Thrawn lackey?

He will have a season 3 but it remains to be seen if they will dedicate several of those episodes to Boba Fett…haha!
