The Book of Boba Fett

I can only speak for myself but I don't hate the show. There have been aspects I've liked and aspects I've hated. They haven't gone the way I would've preferred they go with it thus far but overall for me it's been okay... though not great. I'm not feeling hatred for it though.
Agreed. I can’t control what Disney, Dave and Jon (and others) have created but I can have fun with it. Our members have shown us the show through their children’s eyes and I appreciate that. All of us have great emotional investment in these characters but as I said before, in the end it is just a TV show. Life is short. I am thankful for this wonderful group, my run this morning with my beautiful wife and the beer we will have this afternoon in the sunshine. Cheers, mates!

I don't know that I've ever seen Star Wars content where the fans are so desperate to find things to like about it.
I couldn't have said it better.

The only thing I would add is that everything, even the worst movies and shows have positive aspects and there should be no issue with pointing them out even if they are few and far between. Clinging onto them and pretending the show is working because you liked a background character, a minor element or just really want it to be great is a different story.

mottrex and CopperRevan are likely correct - that wasn’t a throwaway line in the second episode. “Running a family is more complicated than bounty hunting. Go to Garza’s sanctuary and you’ll see what I speak of.” She has a great deal of money and much more power than we have been shown so far. Garza must have alliances with the crime families and politicians to continue her operation.

...does anyone else get the idea that Garsa Fwip's sanctuary is similar to Quark's on DS9? Basically a bar/casino/ and legalized brothel? If so, Garsa probably has LOTS of compromising info on her "patrons"

I can’t say I hate the show, I am totally amazed at how the same team can bring us something like the mando, then deliver something like fett has…

I think it could go back to what was mentioned a while back. The whole thing feels rushed and some ideas and concepts weren't given a chance to percolate and mature. One gets a feeling this thing is halfbaked and pacing is certainly spastic too. If the contract negotiation drama rumors with Pedro are accurate, it could lead credence to the theory that this show was slapped together in quick time as a potential substitute to The Mandalorian if negotiations went sideways and season 3 got scrapped.
