The Book of Boba Fett

Yep, the "Few Words Mysterious Bounty Hunter" is gone forever:rolleyes::( As soon as you try to "explain" the character; you're going to lose the mystery! The new series portrays a "human" Boba Fett and that's a big mistake AFAIK. The ESB's loner has even a sidekick
Why? Again, it's watering down the whole image and persona...not a fan for sure:(

My issue is that he hasn’t really grown into this character we’re seeing. A good story can change your mind about a situation where a character is drastically changed, they just aren’t telling one IMO

I think it will happen. It’s just a question of will it make up for the rest. For me I kinda doubt it but I’d gladly be proven wrong. Maybe the second half will be incredible and he’s been two steps ahead of everyone this whole time and has been intentionally holding back.

If he has a moment where he realizes the “kinder, gentler, more talkative” Fett isn’t working and decides “F*ck it. Enough with the bullsh*t” and becomes the steely, cool, dangerous Fett we wanted, then awesome too!

I totally understand CopperRevan's reference to Unforgiven but Eastwood had that instability simmering right under the surface which we haven't seen at all. That switch may get flipped but there is also a chance it will feel forced and abrupt versus the slow build. Obviously waiting until the end but I don't know how you go from this

Bill munny thought he changed...his wife's influence of course...the slow build came when he made a decision to get a bounty for the sake of his kids and he used that as fuel to his nature that was already there...all it took was Ned getting killed...switch flipped completely. If you look at the synopsis of all the Eastwood movies i pulled, there is a little bit of Boba's story in each...not just Unforgiven. Boba is internally upset over the Tuskens , i'm assuming really upset about the kid...I think Boba really wants to change because he called himself an ex bounty hunter and admonished the Krrsantan to be careful of the slime he works for. Something is gonna flip the switch and watch out Little Bill(Mayor) because Boba is about to open a can of "disintegration" on a bunch, especially him. Remember his warning to the mayor "those that have underestimated me no longer have breath"

I appreciate your optimism and respect other's pessimism- trying to stay strong...But what you're saying is he will need another one of these moments to push him over the edge-

Wait, I just realized I have never seen a refrigerator on Tatooine! There goes my theory- dang it!

I’m the same way, I’ve lost total interest but curious where the rest of the story goes

Still hoping we have a total flip out fett moment..
I watched episode 3 again and saw the whole Krrsantan thing a little differently. I think they totally expected him to come but not quite when. Remember the Hutts warning to him to sleep lightly. Boba goes to the streets, hires the brats and told them they better know how to fight as good as they can talk. Fett is upstairs in the bacta tank, Shand and the group is on the lower levels. He knew Krrsantan was coming and i think Fett prepared for it and planned but maybe he wanted to see who he could trust...if the brats would fight or if he suspected treachery he could know, at the same time draw the Hutts to him. Boba, seems to me , to be pretty tactical but learning quickly that things aren't quite as easy as he thought...especially trying at all costs not to kill right now...but as you saw, he blew an assassin up with a missile..lol. A huge part of me wants to see people have a change of heart...something tells me Boba really wants that too, but you don't do that becoming a crime lord unless you are trying purpously to appear weak in order to draw in the crime syndicates to him instead of being a bounty hunter searching all the galaxy for individuals...I think he wants to get them all in one place to prove to everyone there that He is taking the whole establishment down and there is going to be a different Tatooine. Boba is about to go ballistic . If there isn't atleast a shade of that this week, then like i said before...I have no problem writing an apology to everyone on this thread for being the most overthinking, gullible bonehead on the planet for leading people on with false expectations and will never waste your time with my opinions on any thread concerning movies or shows and will go back to my lightsabers and props...lol. You have my word.

Disney milked our time and money with the ST...
They may decide to do it again with this show, but i don't think so
Rodriguez said he doesn't know if they will but if people like it they might extend it to 2 seasons depending on if people like it or not?
That's a little revealing isn't it? That would suggest Boba lives on wouldn't it...unless He's playing coy. He said the fans will be the first to know.

Please, please don't lose your enthusiasm- our discussions always need balance, otherwise it would just be a bunch of grumpy, pessimistic souls. The wise sage, Blutarsky, said it best, "What? Over? Did you say 'over'? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!...
It ain't over now, 'cause when the goin' gets tough, the tough get goin'. Who's with me? Let's go! Come on!"
