The Book of Boba Fett

Fair enough, thank you for pointing that out. I assume that was covered in one of the comics that I did not read. I'm guessing Doctor Aphra. I've skipped much of her story as I'm not really keen on her character.
I found the info here...

Thats
Everyone complaining about the scooter kids on Tatooine need to look into emo/cybergoth/punk kids that live in Iowa/Kansas/etc. Kids find influences and ways to emulate them no matter where they are, even if their aesthetic doesn’t fit their locale. This show is failing to characterize Boba Fett, and it feels like people are too distracted by the scooter kids.
Not strictly true though..
I'm an 70s kid and was a member of a great many Tribes.. Mods Ska Boy Psychobillie New Romantic etc and yeah we might have been different but Never looked like we'd walked straight out of GAP M&S Holister or any High fashion store.. they are getting flack for just being so at odds with the SW universe..

Separate gripe: I am tired of these 35 minute long, seven to eight episode seasons, stretched out over two months. Remember when you got like sixteen to twenty episodes of a television show per season, and each one had a consistent length? The eight episode season really only works in my opinion with something like Stranger Things, where the episodes are longer, and you can watch them all at once (and they’re also more substantial in the story they tell). This isn’t a Star Wars problem, either, this is a Disney+ problem. They know they have us where they want us—they can do whatever they want and get away with it.
Cable and Network TV has followed a similar tactic. When I was a kid (one or two years ago... ;) ) You'd get like 22-24 hour long drama episodes or 25 minute sitcoms, with a couple week break at Christmas or some other holiday, 22-24 weeks of reruns of that season, and then the new season starts. Now, we get 30 minute dramas, for 6-8 episodes, and then wait a YEAR for another season. But I guess that's the difference between streaming services and cable/broadcast TV.

Now, having said that, D+ is now releasing new content on an ongoing basis. New Marvel show, a week or 2 break, new Star Wars show... break, new show... it's actually a plan that kind of works.

Still not a fan of the short episode length though. :)

I know i've been just linking SWE a lot recently, but he just keeps pumping out these great, respectful & informative videos regarding BOBF. Here's his latest regarding his thoughts on fan service that I 100% agree with:
I really liked his channel until lucasfilm started laying him.. he became overly positive with everything

The very first time he’s really been negative since his relationship with lucasfilm was the ahsoka episode in mando, which I was shocked ya

Yeesh, I'm trying to hang in with this because I'm a huge Fett fan, but I'm about to give up. Boba recruiting Biff's hoverboard gang and letting that absolute unit of a Wookie walk away without so much a job offer makes about as much sense (and is as fun to watch) as Luke milking a Thala Siren. Sorry, IMHO, that ridiculous hoveround clan has no business in this series and fits into this story about as well as a square peg in a round hole.

I'm gonna stay with it but unless things really turn around in a dramatic way in the second half of the season, I'd say they need to seriously reevaluate some things if there's a season 2.
I wake up at 3am on wednesdays just to watch the show. I’m normally up at 4 every day so it’s not too bad.. I do feel it at the end of the day.. I’m doing it one last time.. this Wednesday if the episode sucks, I’m not waking up early for this anymore and will watch it when I watch it.. don’t really care about spoilers anymore

Oh wow! The only time that happened to me was the season 2 finale of The Mandalorian. I just happened to wake up around 4 or so that morning and realized the episode was out. I couldn't resist and went ahead and watched it. It was painful having to keep my mouth shut all day because none of my friends or coworkers had seen it yet!

Nothing upsets me more then getting spoiled the day of the premier..

Now that it’s no longer 114 degrees outside, I’ll sit in my car at lunch and watch it.

Pretty much sums up the episode for me. I guess we should start calling the Gamorrean Guards Bulk and Skull now then. I was wondering why Boba Fett wanted teenagers with attitude in his gang.

Sesame Street voice over: "Todays episode was brought to you by the Power Rangers, and the Back to the Future car chase. And the power of friendship"

It looks like they were filming a reboot of Spy Kids in the set next door and accidently smashed through a wall into the set of The Book of Boba Fett and they kept the cameras rolling. Seriously, if you had shown me a picture of the kids and the bikes and asked me to guess the franchise, I never would have said Star Wars in a million years. They would work better in a 1980's "Boba Fett and Friends" Saturday morning cartoon.

And the acting was pretty bad, even by Disneys YA standard. It was "That's So Raven" level of amateur acting.

So the preppy kids can't afford water but they have enough money to waste on cybernetics.
