I'm also someone who wasn't sure about ENTERPRISE when it started, but ended up liking it as it went on. No, no, only that last episode was being told from the point of view of a holodeck simulation. One of those "outside looking in" POV shows that other series have done. In that way, it was an intriguing change of perspective. I just wish it hadn't been the finish, but an offbeat experiment like the mirror-universe two-parter was.

Not taking away from the awfulness of that final, but that scene had the best moment in the whole series.

Wow, I hadn't noticed that. Now I'm wondering if they wrote that episode just so they could use that line of dialogue to end Enterprise. :confused

i was the opposite. i loved the opening episode, but found the show super boring.


they didn't keep the energy level up until the third season.

Oh I forgot Metalocolypse !!!

What was weird was I thought it was the end before it was cancelled .

It ended with a musical hour long special .
A friend came over during the tail end of it so I was not paying attention closely so it seemed to tie up everything . I missed the little twist at the end with Murderface .

Later that night talking to a friend who is in the business , I was complaining about the crappy way they ended it .
He told me its not the end was just a special .
And after I rewatched it I realized they did set it up for the next season.

Cut to a few months later I read how cartoon network hated the musical , never wanted it made. Smalls talked them into it.

Brandon Smalls and cartoon network problems escalated to the point that they cancelled the show and still refuse to release the animation to the musical for release so you can only buy the soundtrack .
There was a petition to bring the show back .
Cartoon network said if they got 10,000 signatures they would discuss it .
After Metallica got involved they got the signatures. Cartoon responded with one of there "Bumps" they call them which is just a short commercial using text almost exclusively . it said something to the effect of NOT GONNA HAPPEN !

braga deserves it. another hollywood hack who doesn't really care what they are working on besides making their own resume look good.

Just set up for a huge battle between gangs and boof cancelled .
I figured they would end it with the town burning , maybe see them rebuilding it into the brick and mortar town it is now during the credits or something .
They never even got to the banjo player who got shot at on stage while playing and killed his attacker with a throwing ax , or the Chinese hooker murderer story . they had so much true history to work with still .

another terrible series ending is dragonball Z. goku basically abandons his family to go train another fighter.

makes the main character rather unlikable.

I missed this thread somehow, and I didn't read it all so this might have been mentioned. I think ST: Voyager's ending was awful. We spent years following this crew and learning about their families, then in the end all we get to see is Voyager heading towards Earth! No homecoming or anything. At the least we should have had a welcoming ceremony and seeing them get reunited with their families. The only thing they did right was have an escort bring her in.
