It looks like Warner Bros. has started sending sets of the cowl and chest piece as surprise gifts to certain social media individuals.

I think Spiderfan11 (Multiverse Replicas) is making a sticky bomb gun with magnets, and a holder where you can remove the sticky bombs and attach them to the gun.
Also, this is accurate. The gun is still a work in progress as I’m waiting for better pics of the prop to be released. Got the basic form down, but don’t want to keep falling into the trap of having to completely rework it when new pictures get released haha.

Do you have plans to offer the gun, sticky bombs, and holder on Etsy or by dm?

I think I found the elusive front left pouch: the "Protec Tactical Smart Phone pouch" (SKU PT20) manufactured by MC Products UK Ltd.

iPhone6_Tactical_Holder_-_S-800x800 (1).pngPT20_PT21_ON_VEST.jpeg

If you compare it to the pouch on the Batsuit displayed (currently?) at Toy Sapiens in Tokyo, the Protec pouch looks like it has the same distinctively shaped flap, folds on the bottom edges, fabrics, placement of the stitching lines, etc. If you look closely at the suit's pouch, you can even see evidence of the tab having been removed, just like on the holster:

Snapshot 2022-04-11 03.20.22.pngSnapshot 2022-04-11 03.42.17.pngSnapshot 2022-04-11 03.21.20.pngSnapshot 2022-04-11 03.21.27.pngSnapshot 2022-04-11 03.42.45.png

The only problem is the way it attaches to the belt. The pictures of the (same) Batsuit on display in London clearly show that the pouch is attached with a simple strap that snaps onto the pouch (and you can also see another random strap with a snap hanging behind the pouch):

p2ws8oqmj6k81 (1).pngxtyldlqmj6k81.png

The Protec pouch, on the other hand, uses a Klick Fast system belt mount:

PT20_PT21_BACK.jpegFunnily enough, I had seen the Protec notebook pouch a while ago and thought that it was probably from the same brand as the screen-used one, but I never saw the phone pouch when searching for other Protec pouches on Google Images. I only managed to find it now by searching for UK police gear stores on Google and it happened to be pictured when you hover over Phone Pouches & Cases in the Patrol Equipment dropdown menu on Police Supplies.

It definitely could just have been modified by the costume department for the movie. I'll still try asking MC Products if they ever made a version without the Klick Fast dock, though. There's also a second, larger version of the pouch available: the "Protec XL Smart Phone pouch" (SKU PT21), which uses the same product shots as the smaller PT20, plus this new one:

Based on my incredibly rough attempts at measuring the costume's pouch from photos, I think they probably used the PT20, but I'm really not sure. It does look to me like the Batsuit pouch has more space in it than the pouch in the product shots, so maybe that's the PT20 pictured in both listings and they really used the PT21 in the movie, but then why would only the PT21's listing have that picture of the one that looks smaller? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

While on the topic of the belt's gear, another thing you can see in those pictures from London and Tokyo is a seam line on the ring part of the baton/flashlight ring holder, which means that it's likely made of plastic:

xtyldlqmj6k81 (1).pngSnapshot 2022-04-11 03.23.09.png

Ring holders with identical-looking rings seems to be sold under a number of different brand names. Here's a few different listings:
The thing is, none of them come with the plain leather strap that the Batsuit ring is attached to. However, Protec happens to make the "Protec Leather Belt Clip" and "Protec Leather Belt Loop":

le3.pngle4 (1).png

So, you could probably just take the clip or ring out of those and insert the plastic ring from one of the baton/flashlight ring holders. The size of some things on the Protec products (at least in the product shots) don't seem quite right to me, but I still ordered one of each and a ring holder to try and see what they look like together.

That handwritting looks like the writting in Bruces journal

They also showed this page in The Batman behind-the-scenes footage at DC FanDome 2021:

Snapshot 2022-04-11 03.27.02 copy.png

A shame none of these notes showed up in the movie, assuming they are supposed to be from Bruce's journal; maybe they're just really elaborate concept art.

Edit: based on the longer-looking flap and the extra space the Batsuit pouch seems to have, I now think it’s probably the bigger pouch.

Good find! It looks like the correct size is the one that is shown on the police vest, since the flap goes down lower than the one shown in the other pictures. The problem is that the pages for the regular and the XL both show the same set of pics, so you can't tell which one is shown on the vest.

As far as the screen used pouch appearing to have more space, they probably just stretched it out. The toys show a pair of hinged handcuffs, and a set I found has a width of 3.2". The XL pouch has a max phone width of 90mm (3.54"), and the regular has a max phone width of 67mm (2.64"). It would have to be the XL size to fit the hinged handcuffs.

This was a great video. I liked the lights on the sticky bomb. It was interesting that they used an elastic band instead of a spring for the grapple mechanism.

I wish I could watch it, but it's not available to watch in Canada for some reason.

Here's a few observations:

278358725_5144915615562810_7829462724546826793_n.jpg

I don't recognize all of the gear here, but I do see a pair of a pair of folding handcuffs in the back and some zip cuffs in the front. Maybe the hand cuffs were used for Penguin's hands and the zip cuffs for his legs.

278102384_5144915545562817_569807569932099886_n.jpg

This shot shows two contact lens docks for the Batcomputer/laptop (odd choice to put in the lineup), the flashlight he uses in the orphanage and Riddler's apartment (unfortunately mostly out of view), a fabric something (maybe the bag for Penguin's head), and some kind of belt holder I don't recognize. Also interesting is that the snap on the belt's flashlight/baton holder looks to be silver here, instead of black like on the suit that were displayed in the London, and Tokyo:

xtyldlqmj6k81 (1).png

You can also see a remnant of the tab on the Protec pouch and clearly see the difference in texture between the fabric flare holder and leather UV light holder on the back of the belt, as well as the way the belt connects to itself at the back of the suit.

278358725_5144915692229469_2751084044992851558_n.jpg

A case with circuit board-looking things in it that I can't remember. Maybe it's for the contact lenses he gives to Selina, but they don't show him taking them out of anything in the movie. I wonder if that and the case for the earpiece are supposed to be kept in the double speedloader pouch.

This shot gives us a great close-up of the Fidlock female Snap fasteners for the chest piece or cape (might be better for the cape, based on the way they're facing). Weirdly, some of the finer details don't seem to perfectly match, but I still think they used article number 05450-000002(BLK): "SNAP female S sewable":

preview_05450-SNAP-female-S-sewable-top.jpeg

There's also some straps running underneath the neck armor that I don't think we've seen before. It looks like the strap on the left attaches to the velcro on the front of the chest. Maybe these straps are also connected to the straps on the back we've seen on some figures, which I assume are part of the way the cape attaches.

There's no way the grapple launcher fits as snug against the gauntlet as the versions of the gauntlet without the working mechanism in it, right?Latch at the back is unpainted underneath.Latch at the back is unpainted underneath.

This mechanism seen here is very interesting. If you look at the close-up of the grapple launcher from the scene in the Iceberg Lounge, the mechanism is different:

Snapshot 2022-03-19 11.54.16 copy (1).pngThe Batman Grapple Launcher GIF (1).gif

I wonder what the deal is with that. The one in the close-up what's depicted on the Hot Toys and Mezco Toys figures, so I guess it's the "canon" version. Also, the Fidlock V-Buckle is cut off at the part that would let us identify which one they used, so that's annoying. I wonder if it's not even a real V-Buckle, but a cast piece instead.

The section with the snaps for the belt on this shirt is slightly different from the bullet-ridden one from the end of the movie seen in The Art of The Batman, and it also seems to be missing the belt hook:

This is the suit that was on display as part of the tour in the US. The weathering on the belt can be easily matched:

I think the small UV light he used when looking at the rat maze is the only one of Batman’s tools that’s missing.

Finally!!! Someone asking the important question here. I also have been searching endlessly through forums and online images of any behind the scenes footage to find a clear shot on this backpack. I did come across a guy filming the chase scene in Chicago (attached video). Which isn’t the best but is the best we got so far. I’ve also attached the best close up images of this backpack I’ve found. Likewise it is most definitely not a Kelty MAP 3500. I’m betting maybe as time goes on we’ll get more behind the scenes footage with the release on DVD or the art of Batman. Hell maybe even the figurine. I’m disappointed that they rarely make any discussion of this outfit even with how much they refer to it in all the merchandise! I hope the community can come together to ID this headache of a prop that’s kept me and others awake at night.
Been looking for it too! No luck, but searches with large laptop or travel backpack are getting close. I think it's an expandable bag as well since it has side straps.

To anyone still looking for the backpack, I’ve just seen a very similar looking one in the airport. I’ve looked at some set photos as a comparison and overall it looks like a cheap dupe of whatever was actually used. Happy to be proven wrong but I hope this helps. The brand is Aerlis and comes up on Aliexpress and the like. Closest I’ve seen but is missing a circular piece of hardware from the front pocket.

Pattinson Grapple Gun.png

Robert mentions that the first time the grapple was used was the only time it ever worked perfectly. Perhaps they made the simpler Taxi Driver style so they could keep filming without issues.

folded.jpg short track.jpg

ezgif-5-4d01b71bde.gif

On the "hero version", the gun seems to actually fold below the reel to wrap around the grapple in the retracted position, thus sitting more out of the way. Also, the "hero version" uses a shorter track since the mechanism swings out at the front.

Snapshot 2022-03-19 11.54.35 copy.png Snapshot 2022-03-19 11.54.16 copy.png G1.png

Looking back at the image from the Iceberg Lounge, I believe that the rail actually goes back farther than the gauntlet, but was filmed to hide this. The gun is rigidly attached to the sliding bar, so when it starts in the retracted position, it must be sticking far down his arm.
