Hey fellow Dreddites,
I've been in discussions with a colleague of mine who knows his onions when it comes to molding and casting who has given me the option of making a kit of my scratchbuilt Lawgiver.
We still need to iron out a few wrinkles and I personally still would like to tidy up some parts ie:- better grip saddle, smoother rear section, top centre and front sights and some little cosmetic gaps and wrinkles here and there so before I go all out with the expense of molds etc.. I wanted to guage interest here amongst you, the most discerning of future Lawmen.
Rough plans right now are to have the kit breakdown as follows :-
1: top shrouds
2: bottom shrouds
3: front magazine
4: rear slide right side and back (for firing replicas)
5: top front shrouds
6: grip saddle
7: barrel x 2 (silenced and standard)
I may offer the shroud kit (without handgrip to fit an airsoft or the like) in two versions, static for non firing or with the rear slide as a seperate piece for a blowback airsoft to replicate the real firing effect.
it may also come with a mirrored effect window for the ammo screen (maybe a graphic, maybe not) and a personalised serial # plate to identify the Lawgiver as uniquely your own...but that all depends on how costly that would make the whole thing.
No idea of price as yet...whaddya all reckon? worth a shot?
Respect

The ALMOST finished piece pre casting etc...
and my own serial # plate :-
