The Bad Blood: Foam build

To get my mask back or to add to the grieve? lol Both grieves have spines on the outer edges, so I will be doing that. I may add a knife to the suit some place. Being a bad blood, am sure many weapons will have been scavenged. After all, in the comic, Bad Blood takes the blade gauntlet from a bounty hunter/cop predator, he killed. Might even make several knives. Will see. Will have a disc, combi stick and thinking either a machete or a maul, like in the Xbox/PS2 Concrete Jungle game... my favourite weapon in that game by far.

If I can find a way to store the weapon upon my person, without it being too difficult to remove/replace or awkward I will probably add it to my suit.Might eventually have a weapon wall like Wolf has with bios and weapons to chose from.... some day

I decided to make a the maul for my suit...

I found a side of an old book case up the loft, so made a template and spent a few hours cutting and shaping. Also found an old axe that was waaaaay past any use, cut off some of the handle and sanded it all down to a nice smooth finish. Inserted tab A into Slot B and there we go,

lol it's 88 cm long by about 30 wide, including the handle the blade is about 15 cm at it's widest part. it's pretty light too. when I first felt the weight of the bookcase side I was dubious, but once I removed all the stuff I didn't need... It soon dropped in weight dramatically. It now weights roughly 500 grams. That;s a little over 1 lb

It will be one of a selection of weapons I will eventually be making. I will make a leather sheath for it, probably, so it can hang from my side of on my back. Dubious that I could take it into a con as it would probably be considered a weapon. Even though, when am done fully with the shaping I will blunt all the sharp edges. It is still pretty much a night stick with spikes.

how about neodymium magnets for attaching?) and you can put it anywhere (where is metall or other magnet)

I may still add some decals to it before I am fully done with this piece. But I am calling this more or less done.

Thought about that too lol I will get to that at the weathering and decal stages.

But for now.... I have measured this and it fits perfectly on my mask...

\the eyes need to be fixed up, but I will do that after the resin phase is complete. it is currently at stage 1... Hanging in the shed curing the first coat. I know there are two small gaps on the crown, but that's what you get peppiong at two am to get it finished... Will fix it at stage 2, fibreglass and resin to inside of mask.

Maybe you could use horns of an animal? it's more real, more authentic i think)))

I might do that later on, depends on how it turns out at the end. Plus finding horns of that size that will be light enough to wear.

look up drinking horns...they're already hollowed out and come in a wide variety.
