If you look on the pic, right under Andrew's finger it looks like there's a logo or something, which is in the right spot on this camera. Also, the hot shoe mount is off center, just like the camera in the pic.

Nice find on the camera. I just bought one on ebay for $15 (non-working, but who cares)
Anyone have any luck on finding the Vince jacket anywhere in stock? Heck, I'd just make one if I could find a pattern for a field jacket...

If you were going to consider making one, you may as well just buy one of the many other military field jackets of the world. They're really easy to find.
 
Anyone want to build some web shooters? Some schematics of the web shooters were discovered in the Spidey ARG that is currently ongoing. Anyone interested in making a pair may find something useful as, well, everything from sketches to 3D models and actual prop shots can be found in these links:

Ah, I was just coming to post those! Good find! Those should all be extremely helpful! I'd like to start building a pair of shooters soo. Just want to find a good base watch to use.
 
Here's a new pic of the camera, compared to the Yashica Electro 35 GSN. It looks 99% accurate. The only difference I see is the switch to open the film compartment.

TaylorMcManus, yep, looks almost exact to me. I'm wondering what accounts for the difference on the film compartment? Perhaps it is broken? That might make sense given the duct tape on the left side of it.

P.S., now we have to ID the flash and whatever that do-hicky is on the top right! :darnkids

well i tried finding the skateboard a few days ago because i skateboard aswell and was going to go dressed for the movies as peter, and i found out that he has several more skateboards but their different colors and he writes his chemistry formulas on his skateboard because he cant afford skateboards with brands.

his skateboard is just a white board with chemistry formulas on them and some geometry homework aswell

If you're looking for a cheap but decent enough alternative to the Vince Broken Twill Field Jacket, this Converse One Star Fatigue Jacket from Target works. Similar collar (though no built in hood), similar pocket/button placement, same color (though it looks much lighter in the photo). And the best part...it's on clearance in the stores for $15 right now!

NOW, if anyone had an authentic Vince Broken Twill Field Jacket in a SM or MD or a lead on, I'm more than willing to pay full price for it! :)
 
I really don't like that he skateboards in the movie...........Peter is supposed to be a skinny geek, not some sports hero.

I agree with you, but I can also understand where they are coming from a creative standpoint. Super hero movies these days are incredibly successful because they've learned to tone down the "camp" (Villains in colorfully lit lairs, plot devices that defy logic altogether) Think of Nolan's Batman, it's completely tied to reality and that's what makes it great. With Spider-Man, you're asking people to forgive a lot if a single spider bite turns him into a world renowned gymnast super human. Raimi explored this really well, it's fun to watch Peter turn from zero to hero. But this new reboot has to have something of its own to add to the spider-man story, and it's clear that they've decided to go full on Nolan and bring it as close to reality as possible, thus the home made web-shooters, the skateboarding indicating some sort of physical awareness prior to the bite, so what we have is a Peter Parker who is already pretty great, made greater by the spider bite.

where did you find those pics thats actually really cool way to keep them your own but he can afford an expensive coat glasses and nike shoes but cant afford a branded board (ah well makes my life easier) thanks man nice find

Skateboarding doesn't make him a sports hero. When I was in high school (not that long ago), if you skated you weren't seen as one of the cool kids. It's just another element that adds to him being an outcast.

And from the looks of the trailers and production photos, it seems to be a pretty prominent trait of the character so I'm with MCL34N in that it likely helps to explain some of his more physical skills of being quick on his feet and spry.
