The Amazing Spiderman (Reboot) Costumes and Wardrobe

I never said it was screen accurate...just a suitable substitute if you're trying to do it on a budget ($30). Honestly, it's a lot closer than any alts I've seen and considering that H&M essentially just recreates cheaper made/more affordable versions of items seen in high end stores, it's likely they modeled their pack after Club Monaco's or similar. For me the dead giveaway was the fact that H&M's has those two paracord drawtrings - a detail I've only seen on the CM pack. Also, they must have been out of the black one at the H&M you went to because at the one I saw it at, they had black with brown accents and a brown bottom just like Parker's pack. Maybe if you saw it in that colorway, you'd feel differently.

I haven't had a chance to make it back by to pick one up but as soon as I do, I'll post pics and let everyone be the judge.

The Club Monaco rucksack is a very light navy blue. Not even close to black. It's a *similar* overall look to the rucksack from the previous film. Enough so that the GA will not even notice- a nice way to change things up a little while still maintaining consistency in the characters style.

yo guys ive taken a go at the webshooters, not great but you know...

Oh and which black levis does he wear in the first movie ?

Anyone in need of Peter's Electro 35 camera and the actual vintage strap? I no longer plan on using mine and would like it to go to a Peter cosplayer. PM me if you're interested!

So I found the rack of backpacks at HM today. The style really is close but the colors really throw me off. If only it came in Navy :(

Yep, that's the blue one they had at mine. They also had a green and a tan one.

I bought the black version of that backpack from HM i want to dye it grey though..is it possible?
You could, but you'd have to wash the color out first. RIT makes a color remover that you can use. The only issue is the leather would not look the same. You'd probably have to paint it with leather paint or leather dye.

Gap has a great Vince alt right now...maybe one of the best we've seen. No gold snap buttons of course but you could easily add those. Every other detail is pretty right on though, right down to the slanted outer pockets on the lower two pockets. Just thought I'd share!

It does come in Navy. And a faded Black (Not sure if we've confirmed if Peter's bag is Navy or Black yet. I know there are opinions on both sides). I've been to a few H&Ms that only carry a few of the colors...seems to be only the bigger two-story H&Ms that carry all of the colors.

On Club Monaco's website, the color is shown to be "graphite" which is more of a grey/faded black. So I would say it is close to black...a lot more so than a very light navy blue. Can you confirm its color outside of just going off your eye and the photos? Blue is pretty easily mistaken for black and vice versa.

And I would argue it is not similar to the Jansport Superbreak. In fact, Peter's bag in the first film wasn't a rucksack at all but a traditional backpack. Two totally different styles. Even if they were both navy blue (which they don't appear to be), that's about the only similarity other than the big front pocket - which is a common feature on a lot of backpack styles.

Thanks, but I own the Club Monaco rucksack. It's a very light navy blue. I can see where they'd get "graphite", but it's not even close to gray or black, sorry.

If you re-read my post, I note that it's *similar* inasmuch as it's blue with a brown leather bottom. *Similar* enough for the general audience not to notice that they're two completely different rucksacks- but still provide some consistency with the character's style.
