im looking at the JanSport Slacker and the superbreak looks identical minus the leather patch so im thinking of just forgoing the patch for it

No no no no trust me when I say this. I owned a Superbreak in Middle school and used it as a prototype for my Parker backpack. The slacker is a much better quality than the slacker, the material is sooooo much better and comfier and not to mention it has an extra pocket inside that the Superbreak doesn't have. Overall the Slacker is the superior backpack but if you're low on money or cant find a cheap one than just go with the Superbreak

very true. i use my slacker daily, and it IS superior (see what i did there? :love) compared to all the superbreaks my friends have. the slacker has a really nice, sorta washed denim feel, and the laptop pocket is perfect for my macbook air.

Okay, i dont know if this is the right thread to ask on but:
Im getting a suit printed here soon. Ive got the file ready to be sent in, but right now I'm saving some cash to where i can buy a good sewing machine AND the print. If i ordered say a 3 or 4 thread spool serger sewing machine, would it be relatively easy to sew it myself if i patiently did it and practiced on a few other things?
