The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

So I don't know if anyone is using Shapeways or if this has already been mentioned but they have a Elasto Plastic option for their 3D printing. I used that option for the finger pads and button pads and as soon as I get them in I will let you guys know the results. Here is a video of what the plastic is like. Also thanks for the free files kenlandrum

Revised the "Mask Only" file to match the New CMYK V.2 suit, thinner webbing, slightly darker bricks.
Available in the first post as usual...

enjoy!

Hi Ken, sorry to point out on a problem that i found it seems the webs aren't centered as in the original file, you can see the comparison i did; follow the lines from the mask center and they finish on two different position any comment?

It's cool. The edges are not cut edges therefore they do not have to align perfectly... as long as the webbing is centered with the bricks vertically I think all will be good.

Sounds perfect for the pads! I wonder if it would be a good choice for the soles. Probably cost a fortune...

how much is that going to cost? because i have uploaded ken's sole.obj file (after i resized it) and its like $117...

ok.. so for the soles I'm having an issue.. when i scale ken's sole.obj file to my size like i have shown below:
Screen Shot 2014-07-11 at 9.51.40 PM.png
everything is sized correctly. but when i load up the file into shapeways it switches the dimensions around to this:
Screen Shot 2014-07-11 at 9.53.34 PM.png
i've tried to resize the file in netfabb basic but when i take off the scaling ratio check box it messes up the model when i put everything how shapeways wants me to put it.
thus it results in a $117 single shoe sole.

any help would be greatly appreciated :)

when you upload to shapeways and it then asks what unit of measurement...mm, inches etc, keep trying different selections till you get on that works. I have found the when I upload to them I need to choose inches even though the model was built in mm.... Weird

all of them keep at the same price still... if that is true a size 10 shoe sole is $117. WOW!

Quick question, when I print the lenses and they eye frames; what materials do I use in Shapeways?
Like is Black Glossy Ceramics the one to use for the frames?

I don't want to sound incompetent, this is going to be my first one and I want it to look well.. Amazing ;)

I just resized the sole file to 30mm/12" and it was gonna cost $98.41 in plastic.... yes, I agree WOW. As in WOW what a rip.
There are other alternatives to Shapeways... have you tried a local college or asking around in the junkyard here?
