How much did you end up paying?

I couldave ended up paying only $50 for it but the first file that was uploaded was only 1cm really tiny so he had to do some editing so he charged me and extra $10. PLUS the webshooters and lenses for about $10 together and he got me a white mesh for the lenses. So a good $70

Hey Uhm quick question what is the original size of the file? How many cm did it measure to?

If u want to get this printed shapeways and any other website is a bad idea they charge around $500!!!! Use makexys.com it lets u find ppl with 3d printers near u. Im getting the faceshell, lenses, lense frames, aanndd webshooters all for $80 3x less what i would pay from other people or ebay, but if i get the chance ill buy one from them anyway just to have it...anyways this is just as good if not better,i got lucky and found someone who was awesome and made me an awesome deal only $00.25 a cm

I've just uploaded the 3D files of the webshooters and pad to a website (3dprint-uk) as they charge 10p per cm3 (economy) or 20p per cm3 (express)... My brother and I are going to make a test batch of these for myself. I will upload results as soon as I get them.

I see that you had to slice this into 5 sections. Was this due to the printer restrictions or did you have to modify the model?

I know everybody has been wondering how the 3d print of the face shell looks and i am here to say amazing!!!
BEHOLD KELANDRUMS AMAZING SPIDER-MAN FACESHELL!!! :)

Does it fit your head? Mrclaybo and I printed one up this weekend, and even though we were pretty sure about the measurements for scaling up it was too small. We printed in two pieces. Both pieces look nice individually, so it may just be that I have a long face. Mrclaybo worked his crazy genius on it and still made it work.
IMG_1985.JPG mrclaybo took a section of our first attempt to print and spliced a 3/4" section into the shell. It looks ugly, but it works well. I will fill in the large holes under the eyes if necessary.
