TFA Resistance X-Wing Markings Discussion

Ten to one JJ didn't like the black wings on the TIEs, so they just inverted the colors and Lo! they started playing with other stuff as well. Besides, black colors make Poe's X-Wing more 'stealthy' for his clandestine meetings...

It is also my belief that the stripes on the nose, in front of the canopy, match the number of stripes on the wings. Shameless self promotion here, since it is already on page 2 but here are my Bandai Blues 1,2,3, and 5. Blue 3 matches what is seen on screen the others are just me making each ship unique but following a pattern like what others have mentioned. It would seem we all came to the same conclusion On how the wing markings should work.
