No. They've made a stunt version with black textile covered foam rubber grips for comfort. Not the hero versions of course!
Actually Reel Fakes had it right. The Cinefx article posted earlier (p. 83 I think?) mentioned the production team making RUBBER grips for the GRAFLEX sabers. This was then deemed so uncomfortable that cloth-over-memory-foam versions were used.
We haven't received any independent confirmation that the real Graflexes in TFA had rubber grips instead of plastic as with the OT sabers, though. Some are skeptical that rubber grips were used, but that is in fact what the article said.

That second photo is of the same saber that's been at Launch Bay since it opened. It can't be your clamp card (or Roy's) since the replicas weren't made until after that saber originally went on display.
I'm not seeing any "bend" in the traces though. It just looks like something caused from the lighting and contrast effects.
I agree, Launch Bay saber, and the "bend" is a different color than the traces and could be a reflection of some sort.
