Yup, 100% legit and in great shape. congrats. Not that I'd ever sell mine but I wonder what I could get for my fully built ESB graflex with real buttons and genuine bus connector right now.

Rex, that Graflex is in great shape. I followed that auction from the very beginning. It was obviously very well taken care of by the description and accompanying photos. Well done on picking it up. It'll make one hell of a saber.

Thought I'd bump this with a quick question.

So I got Roy's kit in the mail. Everything looks great.

Except for the 2 T tracks that I completely botched!

Has anyone seen T tracks from Tfx Studios on eBay? Are they any good?

I'd rather not shell out more money on more T tracks and screw them up again. The Tfx studios tracks have grooves already cut out.

I just looked up those grips on eBay. They're made of rubber, which right away means they're not accurate. Plus, the profile looks pretty off as well.

Perhaps you could use some magic sculpt or two part epoxy/resin to fix what went wrong and then repaint black? ... When making replica movie props, you really need to start thinking like a propmaker especially regarding lightsaber replicas . . . any scratches or dings or even mishaps only add character to the lightsaber ... they should not look prestine ... they were used a long, long time ago in a galaxy . . .

I botched my first batch of Roy's parts. Thankfully, they're economic and I had enough to re-buy another full set and not worry about it.:lol

roys pricing isnt bad at all, and shipping didnt hurt either. i would order another set, stick with the best!!

Got a pm from Roy about replacement tracks, so I went ahead and replaced them!

He won't be able to ship until after the 21st though, so my build will be put on hold.

Oh well..

I'm in no rush. In the meantime I'll just be staring at this beauty on the desk....

So ... I just purchased a Museums Replicas Luke's Ceremonial Jacket for the value of a G R A F L E X glass eye? That's insane that means I can probably get the full Luke's ANH Ceremonial costume + perhaps Luke's Blaster for a complete and mint condition G R A F L E X flashgun?!? :lol

I just read this whole thread this evening and checked my old flash handles.

I have 2 G R A F L E X handles left, both original, one is ANH with rubber grips nothing special, but my cut up DV ROTJ is without patent on the base.

I think I will order ESB conversion kit for this and get back into prop making again...

I think I've given up finding a 3 cell with all parts, without huge blotches of rust for under $400. Always wanted one, and of course I wait until now to get serious, lol. Guess I can wait a few years longer until the fever dies down.
