Terminator: Genisys

Here's more of old Arnold vs young Arnold. The youtube comments all range between 'this movie looks awesome' and 'the CGI is crap', but nobody is asking the most important question:

WHERE IS ARNOLD'S PENIS

GRRRRRR

The rendering looks 95% good. They always lighten the eyes too much. They did that with Clu in Tron Legacy as well. Just looks slightly off.

:facepalmI knew the reviews were going to be ugly, but was hoping they would not be...fugly. Oh well, give it another ten years and maybe a decent reboot or retelling of the franchise.

That render is a huge improvement over the one from Salvation. Honestly soon they could just do an all CGI Terminator movie and pay Arnold for his likeness.

Well, here it is. Nekkid CGI Arnold asking punks for their clothes. Let's dig in.

Wow... the one scene I was kind of looking forward to seeing just got downgraded. Recasting the punks and re-creating that scene... HORRIBLE. CG Arnold's timing on the delivery of his lines was awful. It almost looks like a bad cosplay re-enactment of the original scene. They didn't even get the hair styles right on the punks.
They should have just re-used the scene's voice track and filmed the punks from an angle that didn't show their faces.

Is it cliche' to say this movie represents everything wrong with Hollywood today? It's bad enough they don't have enough creativity to come up with new ideas, but when they try to recreate old ideas and scenes they fail miserably at it... they put so much effort into trying to match up the original Arnold with CGI (the body double for the Genesis Arnold actually looks bigger than the original) and then they just half-***** the rest.
