Terminator 4: Salvation - Prop Discussion (SPOILERS AHEAD)

a quick shot of the T-600 next to the T-800.. there is a major size difference.. The screen caps from G4 makes it look the same size ad the T-800.. Maybe we will get a shot of both Sideshow pieces side by side

Wow... I would love to see this skulls made off of resin and standing in my collection... Especially the T-600 skull looks amazing :love

Well i'm about to start a T-600 bust, the one with the rubber skin, i'm planning on adding animatronic eyes and maybe jaw movement to, i'm looking for referance of the prop, i bought the art of book, not much in it, is there more in the movie companion book?
Any pics would be appreciated

yes, there are a few more pics inside of the companion, one including a straight on shot of the side by side pic.. also, since Sideshow has thier replica up, there are pics of all angles for you

There are quite a few good shots in the Companion book. Couple of nice partially rubber covered photos too - I think there are 3 different ripped designs. Unfortunately I don't have a digital scanner here.

I look forward to seeing your progress on this and I REALLY hope you consider a static (non-moving parts) version that could be offered. :love:thumbsup

I'll be doing both, still early days yet, i've heard its not in the movie much but i just like the look of it

Personally I'd definitely be interested in a static version if it were ever offered :love.

Thanks again, i went and bought the companion book today, lots of great referance in there, i'm thinking of doing the skull and then sculpting the complete rubber skin over that, then i can do a couple of different looks for the bust, tear the skin in different ways

Yup its a good reference book for sure, well worth the investment IMHO.

That sounds like an good plan on the buildup, can't wait to see what you come up with. Make sure you do a casting of the clean skull before you do the rubber skin versions over it though :lol!

It's good to see that you are in the UK too, at least it might not cost the Earth for shipping (should you eventually decide to make a few available).
