Terminator 2 RayBans?

I read somewhere that the T2 shades were raybans. I was wondering if that's so, if they're still in production? Any help is appreciated, and if this topic has already been discussed, appypollylogies.

They were made by a company named "Persol". I looked at them way back when, probably should have bought some. I don't think they're made anymore.

You can find knockoffs of that style in Dollar storews if you look around. I think I bought several pairs over the years.

that right they were gargoyles, but then were the hell did i get oakley from?...must be dreaming.

The first movie were Gargoyles, T-2 were Persols which the model is no longer being made.

That looks like them to me.

From what I remember the Gargoyles were very new at the time and few people bought them, even though they were revolutionary glasses at the time.

I bought a pair as shooting glasses.

Terminator hit the screen and you could hardly find them they were selling so fast. :lol
