I've always seen a similarity in the faces of the two...like they could have been designed or sculpted by the same person.

This thread has been dead for a while, but I recently completed this finished version of my taun taun head for a client and wanted to share. I think it's more correct for the coloring and fur.

truly taxidermy at its best. what would you charge for a fully finished one?

I charge $800, plus shipping for a fully finished one as pictured. It's a fiberglass head with an adjustable joint at the base of the head for position. The neck is made from foam sheeting and the fur velcro's onto the wood mounting board. Thanks for the interest.

Hey Russel, do you remember the diameter of the ball you used for the eyes? I keep meaning to finish my copy (of this exceptionally well-made kit) but I want to cut out the eyes and replace them with painted acrylic ones. I just need to know the diameter so I can fit them properly.
