Gotta tell you, I've let myself get no where fast because I'm all caught up on trying to find some perfect routine. For now I'm just going to start this again:
one hundred push ups - welcome
and start doing other upper body exercises like, Dumbbell curls,Crunches/Abs,Tricep Dip,Shoulder Shrugs. I used to do these in the past until I let the wind out of my sails.
I was once told that I shouldn't be doing these, as these are all isolation exercises. That I should only do these to finish?
Well, I do these because I don't have the room, or money for buying a ton of large exercise equipment, like weight benches and huge barbells. Big moves help people get big, was the advice I was given. I don't want to "get big" I want to get in shape and gain some muscle to my structure. Maybe it's a misunderstanding.. but there's a difference between what my goal is and "getting big".
Does anyone have any advice?
I know that the exercises above are all upper body. I'm going to put something together for the lower body too.
I also used to buy Whey protein, but then I heard concerns about it being risky for the liver or something? It's been a while since i've fallen out of the fitness thing.
