Maybe we should create a thread showing the differences, if you are interested?
The skull itself is pretty different. The T2 ones I've seen seems to have been vertically "squashed" down a bit on the top, so it doesn't go as high up, and the temple edges protrudes out more a bit at the corners. So it isn't just the front and rear cover on top, as well as some of the groves in the skull and the temple inserts that are different - the whole skull shape is different.
There are the Torq-set screws on the side of the jaws and on the front of the chest on T1, whereas it is an allen key screw on the T2 and the chest is left blank or filled in with some other type of screw.
I know the piston that goes from the back of the head down to the shoulder motor is different between T1 and T2. The guy from Japan who works with M1 skulls showed that the T1 was ball jointed, whereas the T2 had switched to a "universal" joint - is that what the multi-jointed ones are called?
The knee piece is different, with the T1 not having a protruding knee piece.
And the hands and feet are different.
ALL the pistons all over the endoskeleton are also different from the T2 ones. I found that out while modeling my 3D models. I want to try to replicate the T1 versions too, but it is fairly difficult to get exact measurements from pictures, especially when some measurements on the T2 were only around 0.125 cm in width... so won't really show up in the pictures at all.
