Consider this a quick tutorial for the guys who have been asking me how to make a lifecasts of thier own hands. I plan to simply display my machined T-finger on the shelf next to the claw.
Others want to go with something a little more like the old 'Timeless collectibles' replica which also had the hand.
I figured I'd just show the whole process of this proto easy as it is to help a few guys out and to show the curious how simple these smaller lifecast jobs can be.
Here's the proto story:
Okay, after finishing my T-1000 broken claw I started thinking that a machined metal, wearable, stabbing finger would go well with it on the shelf.
I'm working on the proto now. For those who want to do a hand for the display, it's this easy and cost less than 25 bucks! Now, I used the 19.00 kit from Michael's but you can get a better kit for 24.00 here
Here's the pics. I wish I could say more about the process but it's really this simple outside of painting.
