Insightful & original thoughts and opinions always have and always will matter.
Change comes from being receptive to it which some here through their actions have often demonstrated they are not, especially when it comes to negativity. Maybe in the future that will be different but that issue is much larger than this forum. Overwhelming negativity is everywhere online (especially about this show). So instead of trying to change things through trying to change others, maybe change through our own actions. If members want to be able to discuss the Acolyte in positive terms then do it and ignore the echo chamber & negativity. If members want positivity in general, just be positive and treat others well yourself. Others will eventually emulate it because it feels good and if they don't so what? Their loss. Don't give power over yourself to others.
Personally I don't think it's difficult to ignore the sanctimonious echo chamber bs/negativity if you just take it for what it is and move on to the next post. But not everyone feels that way. It's hard for some to ignore and makes the atmosphere too heavy for them to want to take part in. I agree that making a specific thread to discuss the downfalls of Disney and SW is a decent idea although that could completely backfire.
That's what this thread was for. Then people had to ruin it with their positivity.
Yes, but consider this:
On the faraway world of Krayakat, the evil Twepif Mott has consolidated his plans for taking over the entirety of the Shivellian Kordiplex with his vast army of Alalonith Dirvexes and nearly-innumerable Plinth Carriers and Vastil Battleships. They are aided by the insidious K'theen K'Innudeh and the maniacal Uunderlorde of Dis'nuy Worlde, Filonious Deyve. All that they need to complete their diabolical schemes is the lost treasure of the Izzurivamalio, a gemstone/ artifact/ value meal of immense power and willforce compressed into a plain waxed paper wrapper. Once in their possession, the artifact will guarantee total victory and domination of the entire star system (and neighoring Walmarts nearby).
The only thing that can oppose them and perhaps bring their sinsiter polt to ruin are a small band of nomadic warrior janitors, sworn to the codes and ideals of Kababa Dink, the legendary Master Custodian. Their leader, Princess Du Eyegivaflipp, guides the tribe in their efforts to overthrow Twerpif Mott and restore peace and order to the Kordiplex. She is accompanied by the jaded rouge janitor Syde Byrnes (and his parter, Shagg Rugg), the young sandwastes warrior Blonde Wrappedlegs, and his automated companions T1N F01L and Waystebuckett.
In the background stands an ominous figure; the ancient and grizzled viseage of the austere Mik'uh Mausse. Whose side is this stern observer on?
Only time can tell (or whatever Disney gets in the 4th Quarter of 2024)...
I do; I'm also a proponent of embracing a thing in order to destroy it.I am so torn between praising this as very entertaining or presenting my OCD observance that you, very recently, said you hate leet......
All right, I get the msg...no need to clutch my pearls no more about this show. It's done, dead and buried
Now, what else is on my "I hate Disney agenda?"![]()

Negativity about negativity gets old too...Oh great, was I just negative about negativity about negativity?
What a loser!
But he did split.Yet....he's never truly gone.
TldrI see what you're saying...constant negativity is rarely productive. Saying Disney sucks for the 10th time is no more productive than saying Disney is awesome for the 10th time with nothing to back it up. But, I will always defend both peoples right to say it. We all need a bit of reflection and pause and to be contrite, but accusing each other of having our own echo chambers and such isn't productive either. Disney needs a lesson in humility as well, and as long as they continue to attack fans and cause division then there will be pushback. That doesn't mean the fans have to war with each other. I believe when there is something GREAT to talk about, that's where the discussion will overwhelmingly be positive, but if not, then the mediocrity will also play out in the discussion. Unfortunately, in my opinion they have not produced anything GREAT...that is not a slander of the fans who happen to love it, it's simply a difference of opinion so instead of the personal retorts back at the fans who disagree with it, maybe say, I'm sorry you feel that way but this is why I like it. I personally don't think that's too much to ask but I don't have the power to police it and neither do you so it all comes down to each one of us taking personal responsibility, make an effort to have a discussion, and if there are jokes directed at material then don't take it personally whereby accusations get flung at an RPF member because they flung an insult at the material. Laugh at it, don't laugh at it, let it go, or move on. That takes restraint. Yes, I can restrain my jokes as well but I never make it with ill intent at another RPF member, so I don't think I need another accusation coming back in the form of passive aggressive about living in my own echo chamber when WE ALL have them. I look forward to having more discussions with you and I want you to know I'm not upset at you, don't have any I'll will towards you. We just happen to have different tastes.

*Edited because I left out the sentence about not taking things so seriously & having a sense of humor.

Agreed. I always vote for ignorance of both the source material and what is said about it, especially when commenting on it.Sorry, I couldn't help it.
The posts were not justified by what little I saw if the series. The posts were way too thoughtful.
