just wanted to bump this so i didnt have to search for it again.
the hair is all done, i have gone through 6 sets of eyes before i got them right and he is booked in to the hairdressers on monday so finished pics will be posted then.

no reason you couldnt use a wig and just punch the hair line, the thing is, if you want to style the hair afterwards, it would have to be a human hair wig which are very expensive for a decent one. It worked out more cost effective to punch the hair but it was very tedious

thanks guys.
well, just got him back from the hairdressers, they were really busy so it took a couple of days.
here are some quick pics of the finished piece. the lighting is rubbinsh so ill take some more later if anyone is interested.
this has been a blast to do and i think ill have to make myself one now.

OMFG. Awesome.
I think you should widen his temples a bit, as his forehead seems a bit narrow... but holy hell that's wicked. Wish I could paint like that.

Looks very nice Rich, very lifelike... but herein is my honest opinion that is there to help you. Its up to you if you decide to listen to me or not.
Theres something about the eyes and the eyelids that aren't quite Reeve for me... Reeve had very distinctive eyes and they are very important to the likeness. The eyebrows seem to dark and not quite the right shape. The hairline is to high.

The hair and eyebrows had a bit of brown in there, though. I remember the brown irking me for some reason when I found out, but it does need it.
Do the cheeks need to be sunken a bit more, kind of like Karloff's original Frankenstein (not that much, just to help explain)?
Either way, this thing is amazing and light years beyond my talent!

AWESOME JOB!
I don't like to point out stuff as I'm no were as talented as you are, I wouldn't be able to sculpt Mickey Mouse, but the eye brows are too full overall and need to be thinned out especially towards the nose they satnd out too much.

Holy crap Supes looks pissed.
Dude, I love the sculpt, and with the hair it's amazing.
Hopefully whoever got this one will take some pics of the mannequin it's going on so we can see some finished pics with the costume!

The sculpt is very good but like others have said the hair/brows etc are not giving this a true Reeve likeness. It may be discouraging but my advice is to keep at it as clearly a lot of work has been put into the project.
