Unless "TV" stands for something other than "television", this is also incorrect--the now iconic Tarzan yell was created by MGM sound recordist Douglas Shearer for the 1932 film Tarzan the Ape Man. But I agree, a more ape-like roar would work just as well.It was a TV created (with Edgar's supervision) yell anyway, it might be signature but hardly necessary IMO it could be changed up to a more 'ape' like call and be pretty kosher in my book...
Every time it comes up I repeat myself on this particular soapbox... I want to see a FAITHFUL version of Heinlein's Starship Troopers with Mobile Armor and the works. I'm pretty easygoing about folks liking what they like but for me personally, the Verhoeven movie was literally (and I do mean "literally" in the literal sense of the word) was a complete mockery of the book. Verhoeven pretty much said nearly as much himself... I know some folks hate the book but it's my #1 favorite scifi book. The only thing I like about what Verhoeven's movie are the design of the bugs. They did that part well but it's the only thing I like about it personally (with apologies to the fans of the film.)
I'd also like to see the Wheel of Time fantasy series made into films like the Lord of the Rings but I don't think it's popular enough to merit a major motion picture for 13 or 14 rather long novels :lol

I meant more "film" created when I typed TV...
I meant more "dome light" when I typed "rack-and-pinion steering."

My favorite book series since junior high is the 'Incarnations of Imortality' series by Piers Anthony.
