Loving this Snowspeeder build too Mark ! . If you don’t mind me asking, how heavy will this end up being, and are you planning to light her up ?:)
Oh, and the colour you’ve painted the ‘ exposed ‘ underlying framework - is fantastic too !..., it kinda reminds me of some of the exposed pipe work (colour) around the entrance (where the rebels flew in) of the 2nd Death Star in ROTJ .

Hi Ged,
Many thanks for your kind words!

I am not planning any lightning so far. I have no experience with this and think that it is not that important for a Snowspeeder. What do you think?

What do you mean with „heavy“? The weathering? If yes, this will be done at the end and will be as much as with my grey Snowspeeder.

Best,
Mark

Beautiful. Do I see some lego greebles in there?
Thank you! At the outside I have used four lego cylinders, two at each side in the front directly beside the two pipes. The rest is styrene which I cut myself. Inside the back engines which are closed on the picture above I have also used some lego parts.
Best,
Mark

It looks fantastic! I also use legos. They blend in great and have that crisp machined look. Amazing paint work too!

G’day Mark , with regards to ‘heavy’ , I was referring to the actual weight of the model ;) ( due to it’s size & seeing you holding it up one handed ).
Your paint & weathering is superb !.
As for ‘lighting’ , that’s totally your decision of course - it’ll still end up looking fantastic either way , but just a few scattered around the interior - especially for the computer screens would be cool too !
Those pics of the ‘speeders’ flying side by side in formation is..., wicked !:p

Hi Ged,
Haha, true, it‘s heavy and not easy to hold with the stretched arm!
Maybe I should inform myself about building in a possible lightning; not sure about that. But thank you for the idea!
Best,
Mark
