The detail on the 3D printed faux Koolshade looks very nice once it’s painted with Rust-Oleum Flat Protective Enamel Flat Black paint.

Real KoolShade looks flat only when it's really old and covered in dust. When that happens, it's more of a dark grey than black. When it's clean and pristine, it has a bit of a sparkling metal flake finish that that gives it a nice satiny "sheen."

I'm pretty amazed at the quality of the prints. It doesn't even look like it was printed.

Hello TazMan2000;
These kits are really amazing, and I have no complaints whatsoever. The detail and print quality are first rate and leave nothing to be desired. I would go as far as to say that 3D printing is the future of modeling. Thank you for your feedback TazMan.
