Wow, I didn't realise it was such a sensitive issue.

Thanks for the responses guys, all things considered I guess I'll hold off on buying a pauldron for my new TK outfit...

Still think they look cool, though.

Hi ob1al,

If you like the look then don't let anyone else put you off I just highlighted a topic that is brought up from time to time. Costuming is meant to be fun its not like joining the SAS or something. If you think they are cool then go for it. Maybe one day in the future you will take the plunge and get dirty in your TK gear :love

Cheers Chris.

You know, do whatever makes you happy. After all, we're just a bunch of goofs who love to dress up in plastic and make kids smile and if wearing a pauldron makes you want to come out and join us, do it.

But I do agree - someday dirty up your armor and join the TDs who have even more fun. ;)

Well, seeing as stormtroopers are soldiers, surely they clean their armor and weapons every night, after a long day of hard, gruelling work, getting dirty all over... so... at the beginning of the day, they would be nice and clean... for a few minutes. Also - the "sandtroopers" in the movie was never as "dirty" as some costumers have their costumes.

Thanks Chris - with regard to dirtying up the armor, I plan on giving the costume its first outing at my kids school Halloween disco - with my three young 'uns in tow, I don't imagine the armor will stay clean for long anyway LOL.

Though, after making the kind of remark they did, I doubt any Star wars fan would bother ordering from them. Jeesh. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Very true.

Special Note #2: If you are a Star Wars nut and want to buy a chest protector for your Storm Trooper outfit we wonÂ’t make them in a special color unless you order 100.[/b]

I guess they feel they already have enough customers.

I may have dreamt/imagined this, but......

Is stormtrooper rank also on the helmet in the number of black stripes on the audio pickup mounted on the ears? I've seen some with one stripe, others with three.
