WIP ESB I have made a few changes since this picture was taken.
hand painting isnt that hard if i can do it anyone can. and as TM has told me many times "these helmets where thrown together so keep that in mind while you paint. :thumbsup

Along the lines of 8410's question specificly on the frown what type/make of paint and is it matte, satin...so on. Also was the same paint used on the chin? On the helmet that I need the stickers for I wanted to paint the frown in the ESB black...Did I just hijack my own thread ?

Hey gord I used humbrol paint glossy grey #5 i think on all my helmets i hand painted and i also used
testors paint flat balk or satin. Now that i think about it i should use glossy black on the decals so it blends better with the GL grey, i used satin black on all the Chins.
For the ESB lid i painted the whole bucked in Krylon Satin then taped off some areas befor painting it over in Krylon glossy white. then chipping off some areas then i hand painted the rest of the details by memory thats why some things seem a bit off.... I also used the same paints as the ANH helmets but i think i will later have to repaint the decals,
for the frown i mixed satin black and glossy black to give it a bit of a glossy look but not really have it :confused lol
I might show it off when i finish it. For the chin just satin black or flat black
Everything i know so far i learned from T.M :thumbsup
If theres anyone else looking for accurate sized decals and blue tube stripes feel free to PM
And for the decals on a TE ANH frist run helmet.
