I can't believe anyone would so openly risk a C&D from LFL.

Uk law says that the copyright has currently lapsed on the TK design in the UK as it was a contracted industrial design and not an artistic one.
For now they're legally ok, but I'm sure LFL's lawyers are hard at work on appeals and such.

yeah they might not have fixed rights on the design but the name, photos, star wars, they still got that. Thats why AA never had any logos on his stuff.

Thanks for the legal information guys. It just struck me as a silly website with all the recent issues. It is recast and the helmet is all wrong.

It looks like someone got a MR helmet, took it apart, recast it, pulled it... then put it together wrong?

And painted the frown wrong.

What do you think it is Joe?

Whatever it is its ugly, and not worth $400!
