So I gots a question. Finally put mine together and I can't stop staring at the seam on the left thigh. Is it just that ugly on all of them, or is it something worth trying to get replaced? The halves technically meet, but jaysus, it's an ugly seam there.

Just a note that might interest you - HD.ca says the TK is discontinued, done, and not coming back, but Vader interestingly is not. He's currently down to $248 on sale, but out of stock WITH the understanding that there WILL be more stock at some point on him. Sadly doubt we'll get the deal the US has on him ($75. Are you kidding me? Seventy-five freaking dollars, or should I say 'dahlahrs'?), but I'm hitting refresh on that a couple of times a day.

I thought about using caulk.
Obviously have to paint it up, but got a Rubies blaster for my Stormtrooper. Also, just to throw this out there, these are now showing $74.75 on the website. Still out of stock, but if you bought one in the last 30 days, contact customer service. I had a very nice lady make a one time exception and gave me the price adjustment from $150 down to the $74.75! Your milage may vary, as seasonal merchandise is technically supposed to be excluded when it hits clearance.

I went with a low tech solution just to eliminate the obvious distraction of the screw holes. On the screw holes that were in view, I just put a little piece of white electrical tape over the hole. Not a total hide but just enough no to draw your eye to them.

Tried getting a price adjustment on mine but was told they can't do it on holiday items.
They seemed to have disappeared entirely in just a short amount of time. I should have pulled the trigger on a second one.
I must say, I’m very impressed with the overall appearance and quality of the unit. No, it’s not screen accurate, but it’s 80% of the way there and just looks the part, especially when dressed up a little bit. Need to caulk all the screw holes, But I think I’ll leave the standard helmet for now.
As Home Depot was blowing through these at 50% off, I doubt we’re gonna see them again next Halloween. I would say if you want one, go grab one on eBay before the prices get jacked up any higher
