Stormtrooper armour

Looks fantastic, but I'm still semi-new to this costuming thing. What is the difference between ANH, ESB, and ROTJ Trooper armor, and why is ROTJ seemingly looked down upon?

Not looked down upon, just that most fan suits out there (excluding FX) has a ROTJ suit as a common ancestor.

You`ve really nailed the way the chest piece is shaped and the way it sits when worn.That and the shoulder
bells just look more `right' than other suits.

Great photos, you should have some pro shots done in some of the clasic poses with a gel to make it look like your on the deathstar or in the carbon freezing chamber. Great work...

It's the same suit just with an ANH helmet and hand plates,as well as the holster riveted on the opposite side of the ESB.

Your right too about the armour.There is nothing ROTJ about this suit.Find an ROTJ part or feature and it's all yours. (starts looking for a big box just in case )

The scuff marks were made with pastels.They are residue from when I taped the suit up when test fitting,and the pastel dust has stuck to it.I'm going to do some more work on it,I want it to look rough.

Chemical gloves(rubber) in ANH and ROTJ.

Only ESB troopers had lycra/silk gloves.

The shoulder bells are on point. the way the curve inword toward the arm.
when will these be available for the rest of us? and will there be a biker scout in the works?

I'm wearing rubber gloves in the pics.They are old and fading but still black rubber I have newer ones that will have a new rubber hand plate on.I'm gonna try making some from hard silicone,and I think the real ones were brown and painted white.There's a good scene in the detention block escape where at trooper blast's through the door (the one where his helmet spins around and you see his chin underneath) his hand plates look like a lot of paint off and a brown plate.

Well Ken,the moulds have been retooled again since this suit was made.I've pulled a set and now I think it's 'almost' perfect Some areas just weren't right and now the new bits look even better.I'll have to get around to building it up.

The hero mould has been waiting to be formed for a while now.I still need to wire up my new oven though but I just don't get any free time lately to do anything :angry

the best thing about this armor is, that it is completly done by you.
there are a lot of superb armors out here (mike´s TD, clutch´s TK...) but you did it even the sculpting completly alone. that is absolutly unreached.
