Okay Guys, Thanks a bunch for the insight well as said above I worked a bit on a part for baby Yoda's nest to where you can remove it, so I took the end of the can where the top connects and cut it off and now have this ring that the bubble slides on but magnets would be much cleaner cause this ring will have to be glued down. I also been studying these engines and gathering bits and parts for this build. also Thanks a bunch for the likes and comments, much needed. Okay Guys lots of studying on this I am about to make two engines at the same time, lots going on inside these engines bunch of small stuff going on scanning it into my head so I can start printing it two at once lots of fun about to happen just got to make a epoxy and primer also some super glue. Okay Guys, Nope that above is the ring I cut off the can the bubble is attached to the modified lid of this so I decided to cut the ring off the same can I took the lid from this will hold the bubble firmly and I am still thinking on this or magnets cause by using magnets I will still have to attach them as also bout the same doing the ring I will have to flip a coin on that one because they both work cause I did a magnet test and with a bit if fixing them into this part so I will decide both work. Thanks a Bunch Guys for all the likes and comments makes me want to make something so I did and I spent a bit of time on two parts and the looked at the front of the engine in the grab and failure well for me it was but I always step back and bam there is the part. Wow long writing there sorry I get carry away sometimes. The part I made was to narrow or thin the grab is much longer so I made all this happen still some assembly but its a start also some thinking. I will have to make several parts before I can start building also short on glue. I also got the mounts made you know the way I made this you could take these engines off, but the fellow wants them attached forever, he is the boss he hasn't even seen it I have talked to him he has ordered himself a hot toys Mando to put in this thing yep he will fit lot of room. Okay I also got shot of all this need some stuff to get some stuff happening as far as put together assembled yep Here you go Enjoy

Yep I guess I can use those wooden rings else where in the engine lot of parts to make I will make sure I look at some grabs next time before I spend some time on a part. Oaky I aleady have a place for those rings might be some cutting them a bit but that's going to save some time on making that part I kind of got it just some cutting Wow what a day drilling cutting shaping me the printer. Well I will walk away with about 2800 bucks worth of black series 6 inch figures a full size black series Vader helmet also a bit more. Also if I wasn't building this I do have a cheesy star capsule and booster I was working on pics in next post. yep its shelfed I don't like standing there in the shop board and nothing to make I enjoy the build and it is worth the look on his face, I have been friends with this fellow for over 30 years you ought to see his collection and this is his private collection and everything I have made is in his special museum this will make a nice attraction for him Thanks Friend Enjoy the build I don't want it to end but there is always another that sounded Jedi like.

Yep got some epoxy glue and some super glue and some primer. So the one primer part I will do some sanding see where this goes might have to do something else not sure. I do love making the capsule isn't that cheesy but it is something I wanted to make something was going crazy to make and found this toy and got busy on it and its kind of cool I will share later more making on this. Okay Guys, as always Thanks a bunch for the likes and comments very much needed. So I have decided to go onward with these parts which I already have invested so much time in and still not there yet. I am getting close to start mounting some stuff onto the engine platform. very busy day in the old shop, but was cut short cause grand boy time happened. Older kids was going to the fair and we got to watch us some grand boys and the one year old climbs up on everything so you got to be on watch with him. The little fellow don't understand you just can't keep walking across the porch and walk right off the edge. I don't think he understand perspective and think he can just keep going but you got to be ready to grab him up before a fall. Okay Friends, a fair day happening, I was busy finishing up on some parts and those rings was used lots of parts to just make this and figuring it out was the fun part. Well Okay Guys, Thanks for all the likes and comments Love the jaw drop very cool x ray. I really see the wood grain as joberg was talking on. I do a bunch of prep work on this stuff, which is really all I have building this thing on a budget wifey gets fussy when she here's the word super glue come out of my mouth. So I will work on a bunch of this. I have been trying to squeeze some plastic into this. One day I might own a printer but all I have now is me. Only cost in this so far is just 8 bottles of super glue 2 cans of primer, one can each of some silvers. I hope one day my builds will be a lot cleaner. All pointers taken to heart Thanks to all. I have slowed down a bunch and enjoying the build, but seems like last couple days I been on bash it out mode Deep Breath Slow Down repeat. Today been working on some detail and catching up the other side So here you go Enjoy

Okay Friends, Today after all the work done I stepped in and did a bunch of defuzzing, still a bunch to do on clean up and lots more detail. Yep my Friend you are rite on about the paint causing the wood to fuzz up, some of this wood is even fuzz up as I cut it it is a major clean up and the paint just kills all the prep work then there is all the dang cleaning. One day I will have me self some good stuff to cut on I do hope. Today was also a heat wave very hot I almost jumped in the pool but to busy. So all I can do is say I do Thank everyone for all the comments and likes. Analyzer I thought of what you said about is it worth it I was really thinking on that today. As far as my reward I will be getting only expands my collection and my grandsons will enjoy a bit of a reward as well. Well as saying Yes and No today was so hot it wasn't worth it but I got into the build and started to enjoy myself the the worth started to happen, so some days yep some days may be no as long as I am not losing time I just love making as everyone on here does That is What RPF is all about I love to share learn new things and I can say I have here. So here is something I was thinking cause the fellow said something about magnets on the nest still haven't decided on that, but here is a ideal I had cause the other engine will have all the same detail why not make some of the panels removable with magnets. might see on that once I get on that engine cause its got a lot of covering on it. just a thought what you Guys think on that thought Thanks

Okay Guys, I agree removable panels it is, yep it will show off a bunch unseen stuff. As for the right side engine it will be as it is cause a bunch of panels are missing. So more work on the right engine, and there will still be a bit more on the inside and under side of the engine. I will have to wait till some primer dry's before I can do any sanding been defuzzing as I work along still some sanding on all this. I don't have many pics tonight I only got pics of work done So here is a engine almost Enjoy

Okay Guys a bunch more detail stuff done, I still got the front inside of the cone lots of detail in this part as well. I lifted up on the front just to see how the weight was doing and its just fine not heavy even with the engines done its going to balance out just fine where the point of balance on the camera mount will all work just fine. Yep that was a concern not any more. I am glad I really reinforced that mount from the inside with those braces. well still onward with this engine till finished then repeat.
