Stargate SG1 Zat Dimensions

So I got my new 3D printer and I have a zat gun file from Thingiverse.com. However the dimensions seem too large, so I was wondering if anyone knew the approximated dimensions of the Zat gun? I know its a bit curvy but an approximate length of each section would be of great assistance....

Middle segment is 7.5" long x 1 5/8". Bottom segment is 7 7/8 long x 2" at it's tallest point. You should be able to use these measurements to get the rest of it to scale.
