I stated "mislead", not "lied to". There's a difference. I could have also used the word "implied" but I feel "mislead" fits better. It's all about how they worded their statements after introducing BB-8 at Celebration Anaheim as well as what wasn't said. They didn't lie but they sure didn't mind all of us thinking that the one on stage was what they used in the movie and made statements that made it seem like it was (seem being the key word)... and they did not bother to correct that wrongful assumption.
