It's not a dud, but it's very very very niche.
Think of Sansweet's earlier book
STAR WARS: From Concept To Screen To Collectible (1992), but with printed examples of a lot of the stuff, slipped into envelopes on the pages.
If you were old enough to have encountered some of the paper ephemera from the Original Trilogy... the iron ons, the magazines.. if you were stuck in that time warp of waiting YEARS for the next installment to come out... then this stuff will bring back memories.
Also if you're just fascinated by printed ephemera, with an interest in Star Wars, you'll eat this up. (there are similar books around now for Hanna-Barbera cartoon shows, and others as well). But keep in mind this is just REPROS of the ephemera, not the original stuff... so "collectors" will be turned off.
Star Wars completists will aos have to have this.
But the average Joe? I doubt it. :unsure
Still I got mine half off at B&N, and I'm not regretting it.
