Heard from a contractor that works on set building that he was making Vader's castle.
He doesn't know anything else, just that it was Vader's castle he was building.
this makes sense that Kylo would hang out there

People honestly need to get over their Star Wars fanboyism, thinking that "It's Star Wars, it has to be good!" and start caring if it's actually good in the first place, no matter what name it has slapped on the side. Nothing about Disney's trilogy is good. It just isn't. The characters are terrible, the story is just ripped off from the original trilogy, it's flash over substance garbage. You're welcome to disagree, of course, but as far as I'm concerned, Disney is going entirely the wrong direction with this. If TFA had been the first movie ever released in the Star Wars franchise, it never would have gotten a sequel. It simply doesn't measure up.
There's plenty of Star Wars I loathe. I was more remarking on the general vibe of negativity I get from a lot of your posts. No offense intended, of course.
It's not just the Star Wars posts. It's cool, man. Just an observation. I genuinely hope it's just the way you come across, and not indicative of anything else. That's because the Disney Star Wars is generally negative. On other things, I'm not.
Is it a poor film? Funny that it won Saturn Awards for best editing and best screenplay.
And plot holes, there's no plot holes (not any major ones I think of off the top of my head)
This is interesting. Some fans are now pointing to George Lucas as the only one who can "save" the franchise. Wasnt he the one heavily criticized by the way he did the prequels? Ironic since most of the fans hating the new trilogy are the same ones who hated the prequels?
The more spoilers I read about this movie the more it sounds like dog poop. I love SW but just can't get into what Disney is doing with the franchise.

And real crazy thing is. The more you look into it. The more you see George's influence on the new films. He hired (along with Kathy) Michael Arndt to write episode 7. Sometime before the sale. And there are some uncanny similarities between TFA and George's animated film Strange Magic. I have a sneaking suspicion that once the ST is finished that we are going to find out just how much George provided.
I've been called worse than a "hater" so whatever. I just miss SW being an action film about light vs. dark.
I don't see George Lucas as this god film maker who can "save" the SW movies. Frankly SW is great because of the people who surrounded George and told him no on the first films.
He was and most people are just hyping up something compulsively and have no idea what to moan for. I personally wouldn't want him back in Star Wars, he clearly lost his mojo after producing 5 total duds (yep, I'm including Indy 4 and that cartoon movie too).
I wonder if that's due to kinda laziness though? I mean they clearly used loads of unused and early McQuarrie designs in TFA too. Nima Outpost, X-wings, flametroopers. Wouldn't surprise me if they incorporated scraps of George's ideas or notes while keeping the main direction of "making one for the fans" with TFA. But I wouldn't hold my breath for any BTS info with some real weight and substance to it. As much as I dislike them as movies even the prequels BTS were interesting, can't say the same of the ST.
