If look at the screenshot he shows, there are several claimants including Warner/Chappell.

Which is why I'm hoping Disney did not realize this happened, and no one directly related with them actually intended to be as soulless as this. The guy got permission and funded the short film himself (I believe it was $80,000). I didn't care for the film myself, but clearly there was a ton of love and hard work put into it including hiring a composer to make their own renditions. To have someone intentionally swoop in and exploit their hard work like this would be incredibly dirty.

I hope it wasn't an intentional targeting either. But it could have been. Ever since the remastered scores were released, they seem to be a little active finding uploads that contain Star Wars music. But this comes to mind "The first to plead his case seems just, until another comes and examines him." We shouldn't jump to conclusions (I know I'm guilty of doing that all the time) until we hear the otherside.

To be fair, WMG tries to make claims to every video, even for properties they don't own. I think they honestly throw the hook out there just to see what they can get. Most people are too broke to fight WMG on it.

I invite you all to go visit some of the click-bait channels on YouTube with their daily “scoops and plot leaks” regarding Episode 9.

With all the “stuff” they are claiming to be in the movie, it is apparently an 8 hour epic featuring the return of Anakin Skywalker, the return of Han Solo, flashbacks, time travel, the return of Snoke, a regurgitated Boba Fett, the return of Lobot, the return of Obi Wan, the Force Ghost Of “You’ll Be Dead Guy (YBDG)”, etc.

You name it, it’s in episode 9.

The return of a CGI Art Carney and Bea Arthur from the “Holiday Special”? Oh yeah, it’s in there.

A cameo from Wicket the Ewok, you say? Oh yeah, it’s in there.

It sucks, especially if he thought he got everything cleared, but at the end of the day, if you chose to play in somebody else's sandbox, especially when you're talking about the biggest pop culture franchise ever owned by one of the biggest corporations on the planet, you'd be a fool to expect it to go your way.

Either way its good to see them doing the right thing. It makes me hopeful that they are going to turn things around with the fans. On the other hand, I wouldn't put it past a large corporation to have this planned from the start to put themselves in a good light. Especially with the movie comming out this year that is going to make or break their 4 billion investment.

It's a waste of time since EP8. I don't like this videos about rumours and leaks. But there was another guy, who was deep into the EU stuff and made videos about some theories that could happen. Lot's of crazy stuff included. But some theories would've make sense. And then came Ruin Johnson and killed SW. So this video guy was the dude that stood for all the people who really cared about the franchise and the ones who got the biggest middle finger by this piece of... Mr. Johnson.
