Weak, like the new Trilogy so far. Sad, what SW has become, thanks though for Rogue One and even Solo, and hopefully for Mandalorian and Obi. When the Sith-like Rey opened the lightsaber I bursted in laughing. Rey with a flipping folder lightsaber? Maybe it is made by Kershaw or Zero Tolerance... Or it is a balisong? Sith C-3PO? Waiting for a Sith Dianoga next, maybe a full trilogy...

I liked the old rebel ships along with the new resistance xwings though. That was a cool, almost emotional shot! Looks like a desperate call to arms happened and they answered the call of duty or something like that.

The biggest takeaway for me is Carrie. For some reason that one shot of her shows that she's a good actress cuz that one look makes her look like the character Leia should be, someone who's seen it all, worn and weary but still composed and focused...whereas we all know that Carrie herself was totally batsh*t crazy.

Red Letter Media predicted they might do a time travel storyline. Which would be just terrible but so terrible it might be great in a schlock kind of way.

OK as far as trailers go, not bad, but that last shot literally had me burst into laughter. The switchblade lightsaber was too much. Just so goofy.

Most of the footage was from the existing films so there isn't much to go on. That last shot. Oh I'm still dying. Thanks J.J. I haven't laughed that hard in days. Oh that was great!

The only way they can redeem themselves is that R2 is in the last shot of the film.....The only film of Georges 6 that he didn't was RotS, & that was because him & 3PO were given away

Speaking as someone who did like The Last Jedi (accepting that it did have plenty of faults), as well as the first trailer they released for IX, this looks absolutely terrible. Pretty much everything they could have shown in this trailer to make me lose interest in this movie, they showed. Threepio with red eyes. Some pretty crappy looking VFX of thousands of Star Destroyers. And please, for the love of all that is holy, stop it with the weird lightsabers designs! I get that some people liked Rebels with their helicopter lightsabers and the Clone Wars and all that stuff, but please. I’m a simple man with simple taste. I just want regular, single-bladed lightsabers, in the traditional colors. No yellow, no white, no black, no weird stuff. And seriously, evil Rey? Like we haven’t seen that in defunct EU a thousand times? The Force Unleashed, the Timothy Zahn trilogy. When Disney announced that they would retcon the old EU, I was happy. Most of the EU stories, ideas, and concepts to me felt too foreign from Star Wars. Too much like standard fantasy or standard sci-fi. It definitely never felt well-written or memorable. The only thing I’ve referenced from the old EU is that occasionally my brother and I will joke about what a stupid name “Luuke” was for a clone. But now it seems like Lucasfilm is just scraping the bottom of the barrel to try to get people back on board, and it’s done nothing but push me away, and I was on their side to begin with! I bet that by next year, people will start saying, “Huh, I guess Last Jedi wasn’t really that bad. At least it wasn’t that cash-grab Rise of Skywalker.” Seriously, I really hope that the Mandalorian, and eventually the Rogue One and Obi-Wan series are good, because TROS is looking pretty bad. I hope I’m wrong. I hope that the movie is amazing , and reunites a divided Star Wars fanbase. But I don’t think it will.

Okay guys....this is my theory. Maybe someone already have figure out the same thing but.... What if that Rey with the Sith look is a CLONE??? I mean, when she had the vision in the cave she saw nothing but hundreds of herself?? She may be one of those children Palpatine took and experimented with the Force. (refer to EU stories). Perhaps she was the most powerful the one with the most potential and he decided to clone her.

As with the first trailer, this new one did nothing for me. The Skywalker Saga movies ended with ROTJ for me.

I look forward to the Diseny + Star Wars shows. Hopefully the future films won't be such a let down.

I'm thinking this is more like Luke in the Dagobah cave in ESB when he encounters the dark side version of himself. I think we'll see a bit on Rey on Rey action here.

Yup. In my humble opinion this new trilogy is very poorly connected to the prequels and the OT. I enjoy the movies though.

Geez I hope not. This trilogy would be like an orgy of random ideas wrapped up in the last episode to retroactively fix it.

Nothing, no excitement, anticipation. I felt none of that.
TLJ ruined this trilogy for me and there is a very good chance I will not see this movie.

I'll just live with Ep 1-6 and Rogue one.
