Man I've been looking for one of these for my lad for Christmas, it doesn't look like its available to UK rewards and looks as though mine expired anyway? My eyes are closed in this thread as I am waiting to see the movie, so apologies if this has been posted, but Disney movie rewards has the theatrical one-sheet available for 1000 points if you're looking. Not sure how long it will last, but here's a link:

Good luck if looking to not pay so much on ebay!
Okay I'm out again. Thanks!
I'm not a baby, I just don't like dealing with someone who often acts like one (and the name calling here and in the PM just prove that).
And Bryan I've enjoyed your posts.

I was talking to a film making friend of mine the other day about which screen to see this on. He said that there is a big myth going on with IMAX. Apparently, very few of them are actually actually IMAX. Mostly they are actually digital projectors that are "Imax approved"
That's too bad. J.J. shot this on film and I would love the chance to see it that way

IMAX vs. LIEMAX....

It's also worth noting the TFA only has one sequence in IMAX, so only one part of the movie will (arguably) benefit from IMAX viewing.
By far the best trailer yet.And slow clap for John Williams...

That's why I said "arguably" - overall, the movie should benefit from some aspects of LIEMAX. But, many - if not most - LIEMAX are digital, 2K projectors - whereas, 'regular' digital movie theaters are now usually 4K.But the movie was shot on film. And seeing it through a film projector would probably be great.
Mind you , (as I just discovered) the phantome mencae was the last star wars shot on film and it actually looks better than the latter two so digital projector or not, this will look awesome

A lot of the info on all this isn't real solid or is dated. When the Hobbit was released, a new 4K (LIEMAX) projector was used - in just a "couple" of theaters... now the IMAX site lists nine theaters with this capability.
Based on the info out there, most chain multiplex theaters aren't real IMAX. They are converted, digitally projected and at a lower resolution than most normal theaters.
