The red fender hashes are nothing new, but it is pretty cheesy if LFL intentionally incorporated them onto the character for that reason.

Maybe if there's a reason for it, like if it was an ancient design or something that will make me feel better. Right now it just seems like the designers sat around thinking "They've done a double blade, dual lightsabers, four lightsabers, what else can we do..." If Darth Sidious and Vader didn't think those two little blades are important, then they probably aren't.
